So I guess the main question is being that I'm sitting pretty close to Glavoid Shell trail (screw that) does this GAX work out to be better than the DA GAX?

Yes, it should be better. This is the best non-Empyreal/Relic/Mythic GA in the game, probably.
Hmmm now how am I going to convince people to do WoE lol. It's probably a safer bet than 30 Adze though.
I don't have the number yet, but a mnk in my ls finished the mnk wpn.
According to him, it did better damage than asuran fist/howling fist on Slime boss from WoE conflux 2.
I'll try to get some number later, but I'm not sure he is willing to sneak attack level 1 mob.
If it becomes widely accepted that these are the best obtainable option in the game for a lot of quasi-serious players, I expect pickup WoE groups will start forming spontaneously and WoE item prices will drop even more than they have. Tachi: Fudo's estimated stats should give Spamurais hardons a mile long, anything that outdoes Slugshot is notable, and this WS also looks very solid.
Wasn't the guy testing wildfire /rdm? That would skew results heavily in favor of wildfire over slugshot.
I just saw the GSWS "Torcleaver" doing 3-3.4k dmg to Jailer of Prudence (mouth not open).
Aaaaand then Great Sword was a real weapon again.
Torcleaver - Deals triple damage. Damage varies with TP. Caladbolg: Aftermath.
Quietus - Delivers a triple damage attack that ignores target's defense. Amount ignored varies with TP. Redemption: Aftermath.
Gsword still can be beaten by Scythe.
I think stats on emp. weapons are related to mods on WS.
Like Uknvasara has STR and i think its the mod for Ukko's Fury.
That would mean that Katana WS might be problematic to make WS set for.
On the other hand Loki's Kaftan could finally be usefull![]()
working on scythe now, will take a month but i'll get it done eventually. Hoping it doesn't blow ass.
Sadly Torcleaver isn't an overhyped/lengthy 16-hit weaponskill =/
damage ss please! veeery interested in this one.
also, "poop bucket".
Oooh grats.
Hope you got a BST, the weaponskill seems more slanted in their favor than WAR.
Was just doing WoE with a BLU/NIN that unlocked a Badelaire +1 (one-handed, high damage Magian sword) and was playing around with Chant du Cygne on EM-T Gigas in Xarcabard[s]. Raging Rush >>> Zorro WS = nothing. Cross Reaper >>> Zorro WS = Nothing. Gekko >>> Zorro = nothing. The only thing we could get it to SC with in about 5 minutes of casual tests was itself (via the assistance of a SAM's Shikikiyo). Chant du Cygne >>> Chant du Cygne = Light. Damage was 800~950, averaging 860 damage after 9 WS (again, on gigas that conned T to me at lv. 80). The BLU had just gotten enough coins of glory to unlock the WS, so we didn't know the mods.
I don't know their gear/food/spellset/whether it was multihit/etc. Its consistency almost seemed to suggest a magic WS until I looked at the parse and saw the variance, but again, it wasn't on anything particularly difficult nor was it a large sample, so it was impossible to decipher more than that before we went back to work getting me zero coins of birth after 12 hours of lowmanning the amorph WoE. Sorry I couldn't provide more info than this.
Its properties are probably Light/Fusion or Light/Distortion then. Extremely regular damage with some variability (like initial Atonement tests) makes it suspicious! It would be interesting to see more testing.
