Btw since I still think stats + on emp weapons are linked with mods for the new WS i have a question for Jax. Can you try to test this WS a little with adding MND?

I thought about that then laughed off the thought. MND on WAR, really?..
Maybe I'll test some more, busy with XIV atm.
Well I will be honest with you. I dont really care about axe WS but if MND will work on it then I can be 99% sure that stats on emp and WS mods are related and I could start gathering equip for Blade: Hi. Anyway I dont know what you was expecting from magic dmg WS on WAR but I tho you are disapointed XD Try this if you can:
Head: Nhead
Neck: gorget
Ear1: Moldi
Ear2: Novio
Body: Osode
Hands: Alky
Rings: Rajas/Vulcan or 2x Vulcan
Back: Smilodon+1 augmented with mnd
Waist: Crudelist belt
Legs: ASA with MAB+4/Macc+4, H legs, af2
Feet: Suzaku sune-ate
Thats from best performing not to test MND ofc.
Um....well. I like your optimism but it would be near impossible to get all 30 coins in 1 day. It would be a feat to get 30 coins in 1 week, honestly. 1 week is kinda close to impossible too, unless you had insane amounts of luck and didn't do anything but WoE nonstop.
It's not really that the drop rates are bad. I've gotten 15 or so coins in the last week and a half duoing and trioing with a couple JPN. That's honestly your best bet, get a healer and duo the small mobs in #1 and #3. 2-3 coins on average drop each run. That's not bad for 45 minutes of time spent.
However, the problem is it could be 3x coins you don't need. Or, no coins at all. Or, another person/group/LS/whatever could zone in and start lotting shit. That's gonna be your main concern, not the drop rate itself really. To put it into perspective I only need 9 more coins but that could realistically take 1-2 weeks. Or we could do a zone run as an LS and I get a Pouch, done in 1 day. It's kinda random honestly.
God speed though.
Well since you're almost guaranteed to finish before me, do me a favor and post numbers! I'm dying to get this done. If it's anywhere near torcleaver/rudra numbers it's going to be worth the work.
Definitely man. It's possible someone will finish before me though, but I will post any info I got, and do any tests asked of me when I get the WS. I don't know much about all that math shit, but if people point me in the right direction I'll test it however people want.
Using the WoE Great Axe, with Ukko's Fury, in Schwertilde Chamber (tier 2 )
Mobs were Skeletons, Single Bats, and red Shadow Dragon boss
Kparase decided Ukko's Fury isn't a weaponskill, its an ability
Ability Damage
Player Abil. Dmg Abil. % Hit/Miss A.Acc % A.Low/Hi A.Avg
Aable 37888 60.64 % 20/0 100.00 % 1311/2953 1894.40
- Ukko's Fury 37888 100.00 % 20/0 100.00 % 1311/2953 1894.40
Carbonara+Chaos Roll
Soil Gorget
136 str
120 dex
the 2953 was under mighty strikes.
Did you only have Chaos Roll? If you had Fighter's Roll too (assuming since you were on WAR) that would also boost the WS dmg because of DA procs. Looking back at old parses from my LS Einherjar, we have a very similar t2 run to compare these numbers to Bravura numbers. Main difference is the WAR in my LS had Red Curry Bun + BRD support instead of Carbonara and COR support.
This was from T2 with Single Bats, Skeletons, Frog Boss
WSkill, Dmg , WSkill % , Hit/Miss , WS.Acc % , WS.Low/Hi , WS.Avg
- Metatron Torment 28604 100.00 % 23/2 92.00 % 571/2401 1243.65
Compared to those numbers, Ukko's Fury is pretty nice. The 571 Metatron was probably another miss that DA'd and the DA hit landed.
old parse means when ppl were lvl 75 or lvl 80? 5-10 lvls makes a huge difference in damage, as well as the weapon's base damage from 75 to 85. If it is a lvl 85 parse then I guess Ukko's Fury is pretty nice, but did the BRD give double march as support or march min?
This was September 18th so I'm pretty sure he was lv85 by then (since update was on Sept 8th). We rotate bards during ein so he should have had 2x march and 2x minuet full time unless one of the bards was failing. Yea I should have specified that in the first post
Edit: And before anyone asks about the WARs gear from my LS, I'm talking about Mafai and he posted his gear in the gear thread: http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/975...=1#post4137430
First of all compering WSs on 2 different chars, different events, different buffs is just stupid and means completly nothing. 2nd of all why would Bravura WAR use MT for dmg lol.
Why does it matter that its on two different characters? That would matter if it was a full parse I was comparing, but that shouldn't affect WS numbers. Only way that would come into play is race/merits/gear. I compared the numbers with Mafai's because I know he has top notch gear and the only areas hes lacking are in that hes a taru and has INT merits instead of STR.
The event is the same. Same regular mobs, with the only difference being the boss. Neither of the bosses have a strength or weakness to Gaxe dmg so the WS numbers shouldn't be favored one way or the other.
I mentioned before the main difference was the buffs they were getting.
And as far as him using MT, his averages have been higher on the parse when using MT over RR or KJ. His WS high was higher using the others but that doesnt mean anything if the average still turns out lower.
My original point was that if a Bravura WAR with top notch gear 5/5 DA, berzerk, and charge merits can have a WS average lower than that of a WAR using Ukko's Fury and unknown gear (which will be hard pressed to be better than Mafai's), then that WS must be pretty good.
Yeah was getting Chaos and Samurai Rolls, no Fighters
My gear is a ways a way from optimal, actually pretty gimp

Have 5/5 double attack merits, used Warriors charge twice I believe, Elvaan with 5 str merits.
I am 1 advancement coin from finishing the polearm, if anyone is interested in Camlann's Torment, I can test it as soon as I get it if anyone is interested? Any tips on how to go about testing? Never done this kind of thing before.
Use Sekkanoki to determine skillchain element. Get appropriate gorget.
Perform ~15 SA+WS on lvl 1 mobs with as close to exactly 100 TP as you can manage, without using gorget. Repeat with gorget.
Repeat again with stacked +stat gear, of whatever you think is likely to be a mod. Don't use gorget for this.
Do what Motenten said, but also keep over 85 STR at all times. fSTR for Cerastes +1 should cap at 80, but go 85 to be safe.
Sekka Impulse Drive -> Camlann's and Sekka Drakes -> Camlanns should let you nail down its tier 2 skillchain property as well.
I don't know whether I want Camlann's to rock, because DRG should get love, or whether I want it to suck so I don't need to go to the effort of making a polearm for it ~_~

Testing to come later, thanks for your tips guys, I'll get on it asap. Got Dyna Xarc later so can mess around with it in there xD. Will do proper testing later tonight for mods.
The unfairly large amount of birth coins in your bag makes me rage inside, I can't get those to drop for anything. Grats on the polearm though, very interested in seeing your results.
Anyone on Asura with a lowman want another member? Desperately need to increase my runs per week.
Any news on Torrent?
