Damn, I envy the amount of coins you have lol.
At the rate I'm going someone will finish scythe before me. Still sitting on 21/30 Coins of Birth, had zero Births drop since 2-3 days ago, and been low man farming nonstop.
Done with the tests. I got classes for the next 3 hours so I'll post the full information when I get home, but put simply:
1) Its VIT modded, which matches the VIT+10 on Emyprean polearm itself. One thing I've seemed to notice is that whatever stat is on the Emyprean weapon is what the new weaponskill mod is. Correct me if I'm wrong there.
2) Its Fragmentation/Light aligned (Breeze/Light Gorgets)
3) Skillchains with itself and Drakesbane to make light using Sekka.
Ill post other information when I'm home.
Camlann's Torment Testing
Well, I followed what you guys told of me, and I basically went out and found the gorget required. In terms of skillchains:
Impulse Drive + Camlann's Torment = Fragmentation
Drakesbane + Camlann's Torment = Light
Camlann's Torment + Camlann's Torment = Light
Therefore giving it an alignment with Breeze/Light gorgets. Which was good since I have breeze gorget for RNG. Anyway.
Performed 15 SA Weaponskills without this gorget on Lv1 Bunnies outside San D'Oria, as close to 100% TP as possible, with this gear. STR85 to keep fSTR capped.

For the most part the weaponskill was performed at 106TP, however I believe the skills at the start of the gorget test, Conserve TP must have procced. If any maths whiz can make use of these numbers? I kinda dont know how to calculate some of the things you do xD.
For the mods.
Attempted STR. +34STR with no other stat changes. 10 weaponskills this time. No gorget was used.

So it was not a STR mod. This got me thinking, polearm Emyprean weapon has VIT+10 on it, but this didnt seem like a random jump modifier, so I went ahead and tested for a VIT mod. I did this by use of Etudes. 2x Etude at time of casting gives me +24VIT with no other stat changes and no gear useage.

Seems like a clear VIT mod to me, which matches the VIT+10 on the real Emyprean polearm. This doesnt seem like coincidence to me, but if anyone can look back and watch other new WS mods to the Empyrean weapon and see if they match? One thing that would strike me as odd is if the bow WS was really a DEX mod.
Anyone make the usual maths out of these? If anymore tested is required, please let me know and i will do what I can to get on that.
Looks like a stronger Wheeling Thrust. My condolences about the VIT mod. Ares body will always be useful though! It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers this puts up against Abyssea HNMs.
My guesses:
fTP is about 3 (maybe 3-3.3?)
~50% VIT mod?
Wheeling: fTP of 1.75, 50% STR
Extra! : As a reminder for other guys who will calculate this, when you decide the mods you can go back and plug the original stats in to determine the naked base damage of the weapon and calculate if you fall in the right range.
The VIT mod isnt actually so bad, there is some gear for DRG that does provide STR and VIT on it also, Ares Body, DRG AF3 Legs, Spiral Ring, Warwolf just to name a few. During Dynamis-Xarcabard last night the WS was putting out roughly the same numbers as my Drakesbane, without me knowing what the mod actually was, so when I eventually gear for the WS I will see what numbers it puts out.
Well, yeah, but the WS will really shine in Abyssea against High Defense mobs. In Abyssea, it's assumed that you'll be using a STR Atma (like Eve's or Briarius') and possibly Atma of the Razed Ruin (DEX+50, Crit+30%), which would really pump up Drakes but not do a whole lot for this WS. I see this weaponskill as a Wheeling Thrust crusher, but the situations where you'd use Wheeling Thrust in current FFXI are pretty limited.
You get extra damage from being able to SC Light with Drakes! I would like to see the numbers in Abyssea under two scenarios. One without Atma (Silly, but I just want to get a sense of it's normal DMG on higher LV mobs) and one with 2x STR Atma + VIT gear.
Question: Since these new WS have Light/Dark alignments, does this mean they can double-light/dark just like the relic WS? That could be really sick of the double damage on the empyrean also procs on WS... Someone's gotta fire that crap off on a Qutrub or Boreal Hound just for shits & giggles.
Yeah, they can.
So which elements was Ukko's Fury confirmed to align with? I know breeze gorget worked, but what's the other one?
No gorget:
Min: 1555
Max: 1625
Avg: 1596.6
Max/Min ratio: 1.045
Max supported: 1555.99*1.05 = 1633
With gorget:
Min: 1600
Max: 1669
Avg: 1637.4375
Max/Min ratio: 1.043
Max supported: 1600.99*1.05 = 1681
Vit +24:
Min: 1641
Max: 1716
Avg: 1,678.8
Max/Min ratio: 1.046
Max supported: 1641.99*1.05 = 1724
Relative increase with +vit:
Min: 86 (86*1.05 = 90.3)
Max: 91
Avg: 82.2
Max Supported: 91
+24 vit seems to allow a gain of 90-91 damage at max pDif. Divide by 3.15 and it's a gain of 28.6-28.9 after fTP.
Broad estimates put fTP between 3.0 and 4.5. That gives a range of the Vit mod of:
@3.0 fTP: ~50% Vit
@4.5 fTP: ~33% Vit
@3.4 fTP: ~42% Vit
@3.7 fTP: ~37.5% Vit
However since the +Vit must give an integer increase in base damage, it's easier to look at possible WSC mods first and backtrack.
And, unfortunately just realized something. In the +vit weaponskills, you'd taken off your +str, which means your fStr is no longer capped (need ~ +76 str to cap on a rank 12 weapon, and you had 76 str total; need to increase that by whatever the mobs' vit is). That means your base damage dropped by probably 1 point, possibly 2, for those weaponskills.
That in turn means that if it looks like it increased base damage by 7 points, it actually increased it by 8 or 9 points. I can't properly scale it with the above numbers, so will have to set it aside for now. Need another set of ~15 weaponskills with 85 str and +vit gear. Go ahead and get sets both with and without gorget, as well.
Ignoring that for now, I went back and to compare fTP with WSC. Using a WSC range of .30 to .50 in 0.01 increments, the max reported values give an fTP range of 3.11 to 3.37, but with a gorget difference of 0.09. Using the max supported values gives an fTP range of 3.12 to 3.39, with a gorget difference approaching 0.1. In general, the lower WSCs had better matches to the gorget differences.
Tentative stats:
3.3 fTP
37.5% VIT

What ammo is that? Heck, what offhand is that?
Kamome and the Increases Crit Hit DMG Tathlum? I assume with Cavaros Mantle, he's trying to push as much Crit hit DMG+ as possible.
He's on Diabolos (Same dude to find out what MMM Ixion drops). The soonest I can get on is probably Fri/Sat, so if you have questions I can ask him.
That's pretty goddamned ridiculous anyway.
aaaaand nin is relevant again.
