Dumb question that might/probably got answered already...
Does SCH weather work for this?
Also, for the 15% cure potency staff, I think light weather any mob (trial 828) is best done in nyzul. The arcana while in weather... no clue. For light damage 50+ damage finishing blow... Banish2?
For light weather cant you just do limbus?
You can't have 2 weapons with the same trial at the same time, only different ones. If different trials happened to overlap it might work thou like "600 Defeat 100 monsters of any type on Windsday or during Resist Vs. Wind weather. " + "601 Defeat 100 Aquan mobs on Windsday or during Resist Vs. Wind weather."
I can confirm you can work on multiple trial weapons than go turn them in at the same time thou.
Tried asking this in the other thread, no responses.
Are the multi-hit weapons worth it? I keep hearing shit about weapon rank which just confuses the hell out of me. I mean, that OAT GKT looks like it would just murder everything.
If they proc at 50%, yes they murder all existing non-relic options. Only exceptions that come to mind are H2H (maybe? Think it depends on whether it procs on both fists and don't recall how it fares vs Shenlong's) and stuff like Joyeuse/Ridill.
Ridil no, but the sword has 6 more base DMG over Joyeuse for a little more delay.
That OAT dagger is just pants-creamingly good. Dare I say... lol X's Knife? >_>
So all that crap about weapon rank doesn't matter? Or what? I remember reading about it on wiki once and it just confused the shit out of me. It's not that I suck at math or anything (though it's not my strong suit lol) I'm just not the biggest fan of hidden modifiers if you can't tell.
Joyeuse has superior DPS and is even better for RDM and PLD/RDM due to the low delay (enspells) at the expense of a single point in weapon rank on WS (not that big a deal, especially for PLD). The comparison is obviously irrelevant for BLU and any jobs that are on Joyeuse but not Antea. Also, it's only 5 points of base damage. Weapon rank does matter (less so against HNM), it's just that the massive increase to WS frequency outweighs the losses in base damage and delay, especially if it's on a DW job where the lower damage won't affect WS damage.
DRK can potentially (and easily in Campaign) 5-hit their OAT Scythe.
WS again after just two attack rounds? Sure why not...
On another note, can someone with Soboro explain to me Zanshin's behavior with multihits? Can Zanshin proc on any swing and potentially see Miss-Hit-Miss-Hit in a round with an OAT weapon?
Looking to kill skells during weather, anyone on leviathan wanna join me? Best bet im thinking is lvl sync down to mid 50 and run around xarc
Haha, that'd make the GAX trial so easy. We're getting 3 NMs with good repop times and 2 of them have very small pop areas (compared to a COR friend who has to kill some guy named Bladebender and it hasn't popped in 7 hours for him). Then exp birds, we all know that's done in one merit party session. Finally mobs that can be Too Weaks? And we need Ruthven's nails; I think Verthandi Eye is by far the most popular (= competed) drop because of the dagger; Ruth nail should be easier to bum off people.
I don't know...
It'd most likely replace Blau in the offhand, but X's 10% damage bonus to crits is pretty hard to top, especially when THF forces so many crits.
I honestly couldnt say if it's better offhand than X's for mandau.
Without Mandau, I think X's is still top dog.
