So I'm almost on the big fork on the DD mythic for dagger, just a couple VNMs left, and I need your guys opinion.

As a not very hardcore at all dancer, should I even bother going for the empyrean dagger (50 glavoid shells >,,<) or just go fuck it, that's never happening, and start doing some low man WoE and get at least the empyrean -1, OR, wait to see if SE ever makes glavoid and etc actually possible to farm? I can afford 50 x 200ish K items, the issue is I neither have the large endgame shell to take down glavoid once, let alone 50 times, and no one on quetz ever has even one shell up for sale.

I'm thinking of getting the -1 just because having rudra's storm would be a neat toy to play with for soloing skillchains, see what it provides, but on the other hand it'd really fucking suck if I upgrade on the WoE path and 2 months later SE does something to glavoid and suddenly theres tonnes of glavoid shells on the market...

Well, shells cannot be sold (they're Ex). I would recommend probably going for the Dagger -1, but there's no reason to commit to one path or the other until you have the 30 coins for upgrade. The lowest I've heard of people doing Glavoid with is (I think) 8 and he takes a freaking billion kills to pop if you're going to farm key items sans xp-party. It's just not even comparable to Masamune, and I'm shocked that that Thief has completed it already. Your time would be better spent trying to get Atma of the Razed Ruin from Ironclad Pulverizer.

Glavoid can be done with 4, probably less. That aside, it's still a shit-fucking-ton harder to farm the other empyreans than it is to do carabosse/cirein ones :/

Has anybody done any tests to see how badly 5 hit masamune beats a 5 hit amano? I'm so torn whether or not I want to go for masa, though I think my mind would be swayed if the parse difference was significant.

Well and it isnt true WoE Fudos are very near on dmg with Masamune Fudos. Differences are mostly cuz Masamune users are mostly pimped in gear and support but if someone with similar gear and situation do Fudos with WoE is very near in dmg.
