Fudo's not a crit weaponskill so if it's destroying Kaiten inside abyssea it's probably destroying it outside abyssea as well.

Relics are pretty much dead and buried (for now, at least).

Which is sad considering the gil difference to upgrade this over a relic and the amount of time to get this weapon compared to mythic and relic. These weapons average 200k-300k per trial peice of which you need 100 of them for both trials combined. This weapon averages less then 30mil for the majority of ppl that brought their weapon merc style.

More power to the playerbase I guess. Fuck timesinks.

Really? I've heard of a few instances of people paying 1mil per trial piece on Lakshmi. That makes it 100mil. Next update will probably be another 50, so 150mil. I agree they're easier to get, but that doesn't mean people aren't blowing inordinate amounts of gil on them.

You can probably buy a masamune for 50m, gl doing the same with a tahrongi one ... offered 750k the entire time I was working on mine(which amounts to 75m) and was unable to get a single seller. Unless other servers are drastically different, you'll probably be paying 100m and waiting quite a while if you want to buy scythe/h2h/GA/dagger.

You really think the price is the same between Visions and Scars zones? From my experience so far, Visions items are damn near impossible to buy, even at 1mil - everyone popping those NMs is doing so specifically for the Empyrean upgrade items. On the other hand, tons of groups pop Scars NMs specifically for AF3+2 materials, and 300k seems to be the high-end on price, and they are sold quite often here...

Really couldn't get Ulhuadshi Fangs? Our guy doing Verethragna has gotten some already...I actually turned down buying Sobek's Skins @ 400k because I felt it was overpriced and they are buyable @ 2-300k. Visions items are near impossible to buy (I was unable to buy Carabosse Gems @ 600k per back when I did my Masamune), even Carabosse/Briareus path, because lets face it, people not doing Empyreans have no desire or need to make those popsets. A lot of groups do have Scars Empyrean items hitting the floor though.

Didn't get any fang offers with it seacomed and in xiah, though I grinded through that portion in only 2-3 days, lot of help from friends who wanted af3 mats. The few times I saw other people pop, they were unwilling to sell.. though I guess that's not a huge statement regarding anything. Visions items are damn near unbuyable, because anyone who has the resources to kill the mobs for you is going to be making better gil doing other things(and who the hell kills the mobs for other drops? Augur's gloves/Brisk Mask are ok, but I don't think I'd farm just for them.. thought never even crossed my mind until I got them while working on empy. Briareus and Carabosse drops are godawful, and kukulkan is just staff even if people do it for the belt/skin).

How does the armageddon and gandiva compare to annihilator and yoichi respectively? Which are the better weapons to get?

It's also not worth using Cavaros outside Abyssea (barring pDIF cap) since you crit less frequently. Outside Abyssea I'd probably do Iga Dochugappa (just a guess, no math), inside it would depend on whether critrate caps or no and what your atmas are.

Empyreals will do far more damage but you will end up taking hate which could become obnoxious quick.

This makes the Relics still the "best" with regards to the nature of the job.

He means even if the empyrean bow (and Gun I'd imagine) deal more damage, they increase the likelihood of the user being killed. The relic WS's have an enmity down effect attached to them, so over the long run they might be better suited for DDing since you... probably DD better when you're alive.
