So basically Pchan making an assumption that the OAT only affects one fist (rather than being like faith h2h and procing on both) and deciding to not put forth the effort due to that assumption. And it still cracks me up when pchan/mdkuser go down the "hades+1 beats destroyers" argument every chance they get, all the while arguing "well you're going to be capped on acc with pizza anyways" in every other thread.

If the OAT applies to both fists:

OAT hands > Destroyers (in high acc situations, during focus, during feint, or when using pizza) > Hades+1 > Hades > everything else.

If OAT only applies to first hit.. Then keep your current stuff and write SE angry emails.

I think that's definitely my favorite part about all this.

And yeah, gotta hunt for the Eyes of Verthandi now for my Athame (God, I never wanna see a hippogryph again in my life). I'm in the same boat as Shamaya in ways of obtaining them (farm T2 and hope it for a T3 pop item, then shout for a group or something and let them have everything except the eyes).

On a random note I also got my Surge Subligar for DNC last night 1/1~ with DNC/PUP only on the equipment, it's barely hunted haha. Gotta try and get one for my friend now...

That's pretty excessive isn't it? Unless it can proc on both fists unlike lolGlanzfaust. What kind of TP return per fist would a MNK be looking at?

The longer delay would have to be there to compensate for the OAT because it would proc on both fists... right? That seems to be the logical thing.

Though I dunno, SE might be mean and only allow the main hand to OAT. We'll see when someone actually makes and tests the thing!

Other than the boat between Whitegate/Nashmau or Sea Serpent Grotto/Kuftal Tunnel, any other (non-fishing; fishing skill is too low) methods of getting a reliable rate of Sea Monk kills during fire/wind/thunder/light weather?

SSG/Kuftal shares a light-based weather with a dark-based one each, and the ferry only happens so often, so I was wondering if there wasn't a more reliable method to getting the 100 kills.

Kuftal is fire/wind (and doesn't seem to have enough of it either, stuck doing spiders here under the same weather). Labyrinth of Onzozo should have the same weather as Buburimu (wind/rain).

That would be nice, but I don't see it on wiki. normally wouldn't trust wiki, but you can find all this info by talking to the magian moogle apparently.

I have it on a dagger. Lasts at most 30 seconds, but has a pretty reasonable proc rate. It doesn't replace itself.

I'm still bracing for 10% FAIL on my OAT Scythe. It'd almost be too-good-to-be-true with only 25%, while 45% is going to be absolutely broken with a 6-hit.

Yes, and 5-hittable. I don't have Askar, Aurum, or even Rajas to pull it off though, so could only do it in Campaign.

But between 5-hit and 6-hit, theres a chance equal to your attacks-twice percentage that it won't matter anyway. The difference in 'rounds to 100tp' is fractional.

Could always go convince someone to get the weak-sauce version. Of course, knowing SE, they could just as readily make the proc rate on the weak weapon like Joyeuse and the proc rate on the strong weapon like Algol (just pulling an example, I know Algol is explicit about its rate).

I datamined a little myself and tracked down the augment entries. Looks like theres only one entry for each of the multihit options, implying that all of them will have the same rate, but I didn't look too hard past the first instance.

I've already surmised that the lower damage option is not actually a final form and will get additional attacks added later on when they expand the system more.
