How much info is there on Torcleaver at the moment? Is Caladbolg decidedly better than Redemption?

Don't think there's much solid information for either weapon, but if Torcleaver turns out to be anything like Fudo, yes.
I'd say any time when we were still EXPing in the Labrynth of Onzozo is still within the game's infancy, but I suppose it could mean different things to different people.
Speaking of backpedalling, you claimed it was "things like Homam" that made it feasible, and I've yet to see you substantiate that claim.
From what little information I've seen, Torcleaver is at least as good if not better than Quietus, and Caladbolg looks ten times cooler than Redemption.
Edit for the above: I'd ask how you define feasible. The DD jobs used now had as much haste or more than PLD long before Homam came into being, and still did more damage, and whose defensive capabilities have been largely unchanged from then to now (Counterstance and Seigan).
Please do. Do you really think the additional of 3-4% haste made pld/nin feasible? I think you're insane if so. I mean, granted dusk was expensive and/or hard to get at one point, but no moreso than the bullshit koenig that was being sported.
Fact of the matter is, the only thing that changed was people's understanding of the game.
And here I thought you were joking about that Playboy Bunny thing.. >__>;
I have Quietus and an LS mate has Torcleaver, and honestly so far I have't been blown away by Torcleaver. It's not a bad WS but I haven't personally seen numbers that put it on the level of Quietus, let alone something like Fudo. But it's not like comparing Ukko's Fury to another WS either, the difference isn't that bad.
Wait, Quietus is even decent now? I thought it was Guillo+1?
Cell phones have existed for billions of years, we just only recently figured out how to put them together.
I think that's what he's trying to say, albeit in a much simpler (but less obvious) way.
