I'd say claws have same drop rate as the other empy items from scars and visions.

Do the other zones have a NM in their path like tiger? Meaning a NM that has a 5-10% drop on rare pop item with no way to enhance drop rate through !!'s? Tiger was such a huge cockblock for cerb, so i'm just wondering if SE wanted it to be that way for the empys that need hydra/khim items.

Yea I've heard reports on items as low as 1 drop in 3 kills. But I guess wyrm NMs are a hell of a lot easier to pop. That probably explains it~

Yeah we got lucky and were able to buy dozens off the AH. T2 Cerb was at 0% when we started farming for GA90 items.

I have done bhukis with my whm mule, me on nin, and a friend on rdm. It is actually really easy until he gets lucky and snipes your cruor buffs away. Keeping shadows at a high count helps but I have had 3+ and still been hit by it. Once those hp buffs go it becomes a struggle. This was done at 85 cap though, 90 cap + third atma would probably make it easy. He is pretty accurate, but with slow II it was easy to tank.

Have you heard of this on Azdaja or Isgebind?

We've done over 10 Draguas, 70% were no droppers, while the rest were single droppers. Absolutely no double Scale drops at all.

When we did half a dozen Isgebinds, all of them dropped at least one. I don't recall if there were any double droppers.

I just assumed like you that the wyrms aren't 100% because it's easier to get a pop, but really hoping someone tells me it's drop is broken so SE will change it.

Guess it's pretty clear now that they intended on it sucking to upgrade 90 empys. I thought tiger king hides were bad, but chance for 0 items from a pop and low chance for 2 is far worse, if this is indeed true.

It can drop 2 horns, it's probably just rare. As someone in my LS said Lv90 Emp items seem to pick between two evils. Easy/Consistent pops with shit drops. Horrible/Inconsistent pops with consistent drops. I'm not looking forward to Drag Claws =x.

Eh, at the end of the day, I guess either wyrm or ToAU king NM paths (even at needing 75) I find to be easier to do than the old 30 min+ respawn Heqet/Gukumatz with what feels like half the server camping them.

The 0 dropping stuff feels like a giant kick to the nuts everytime it happens though.

EDIT: Tally on Dragua came out to 8 upgrade items out of 15 kills. So, 8/15 for 0, 6/15 for 1, 1/15 for 2.

It's not 100%, the previously mentioned 15 drops from dragua, I believe, was with TH6+ on all kills and 13 or 14 yellow procs.

We proc'd everything but Blue I think. But yea, as most people have attested, !! don't affect Empyrean Item drops.
