I was in an abys pt with a sam fulltiming af1. Even he had a masaume.

Whats ffxi coming too!?
woulda taken screen for gimp player thread, but noticed 95% of the ally was gimp...

Maybe its the new standard.

It's more or less priorities just like before. There were plenty of gimpy players with relics before because all you needed was a bankroll to get them. It's not like it was hard to pay someone to kill the in dynamis portion of relics. There just were less relics over all so it seemed less common.

I haven't seen any conclusive testing on Empyrean ODD, most think it's 20-30%. In the process of farming inside of Abyssea, i have always thought the ODD seemed higher, but mobs change so often and you can't keep aftermath up 100% of the time, so it was hard to pin down an actual rate.

I decided to do some concrete testing on 90 Ukonvasara's 300% ODD aftermath.

*Testing was done with only 1 piece of AF3+2 on(feet), to avoid the set bonus.
*Atmas used were RR/GH/DD. This was done to achieve capped crit rate, which makes it easier to separate ODD proc from none ODD proc.
*Normal hits that aren't critical will be ignored, because it's much harder to separate high/low and if ODD really occurred.
*Testing was done on Crapaudy in Abyssea - La Theine Plateau.
*Level 3 Aftermath was up 100% of the time.

Total # of crits: 578
Crit low: 461
Crit high: 1315

# of none ODD crits: 285
Crit low: 461
Crit high: 653

# of ODD crits: 292
ODD Crit low: 936
ODD crit high: 1315
ODD Rate: 50.51%

So, ODD rate on 90 Ukonvasara with level 3 aftermath is 50%~

Few things to keep in mind:
*This is with 90 Empy, so it could be a boost from 85.
*ODD rate could depend on level of Aftermath.
*Each Empyrean might have a different proc rate, similar to how relics work with the x2-3 damage mods. )I say this because 85 h2h was reported at 20% ODD rate i think?(

I plan to test level 1 aftermath as soon as i can find some more free time to see if the ODD rate stays the same.

H2H Empyreal can only proc on the offhand, which may effectively halve its proc rate.

Well, i knew that! I just haven't seen any other numbers mentioned besides the 20% figure. My own testing on 85 Masamune was roughly 30% ODD, but i admit that was hardly accurate and taken from a xp parse.
