Because see, back in the past, when we were only level 75, and HNMs were still difficult, it was fucking impossible for THF to get a decent attack value, especially given we never got attk buffs, and the attack bonus on MandS made it beat the piss out of Dancing Edge.

If someone has evidence of an actual 6 hit Rudra's that'd do just fine as well.

Ok, difficult was the wrong word. When they were high defense. The last part of your statement is just nonsense. It doesn't matter how credible the THF is, the bard is and always has been better spent on purpose built DDs.
