Because ODD from Empyrean WS can't proc on WS and ODD from gear stacks with Empyrean ODD. I believe they are one in the same as far as how they work(for the ravager set at least).

Until it's irrefutably proven that AF3+2 set bonus can stack with WS, it's much safer to assume it can't with what we know so far.

Congratulation! Mind sharing your ws set, a friend has the 85 lvl version who is also a dancer but is quite new with the ws.

I lack Moonshade, Aias, and +2 hands, but a good WS set in Abyssea would be:
Twashtar/Whatever/_____/Charis
Aias Bonnet/Aqua Gorget/Moonshade*/Brutal
AF3+2/AF3+2/Thundersoul/(Thundersoul or just stick with Rajas)
Atheling/Aqua belt/Tumbler Trunks/AF3+2

*Moonshade would be TP Bonus+25, but barring that you'd want to use Jupiter's earring or Aesir ear pendant.
You'll sometimes be better off with Matre Bragezenn for legs and Cavaros for back, but I rarely find myself attack capped on DNC unless I have the luxury of an attack buffer (and if I have two buffers, I should probably be on WAR).
The Aqua things could be repaced with Shadow or Snow. I just did Aqua because I already had it for WAR WSs (Raging Rush, Steel Cyclone).

And yeah, why is he gearing for crit with a non-crit WS? Well, if you use Striking Flourish -> Rudra's with the AF3+2 body, you get about a 50% crit rate on the main hit (and probably DA). I've been doing some one-shotting with my Rudra's. It's probably still not a responsible WS to use, but I pull a monster or two between ??? re-pops and build 300TP/5 finishing, pop the NM when the ??? respawns, toss up a Samba and Saber Dance, build back up to 300TP, and do a Striking Flourish -> Rudra's -> NFR -> Reverse Flourish -> Evisceration (Darkness). Then I have AM3 up and the monster is missing a laaarge chunk of life.

Ah, touche! I didn't consider it because that's another piece I don't have yet. You'd probably want to replace Rajas with it in Abyssea though, as the +70 STR I see in Ule/Altep/Grauberg caps your fSTR. With AF3+2 hands, STP on WS wouldn't be a consideration at all for us really.

It stacks but they are different description. DRG and PUP who tested it seem to think that it can proc on WS. As a DRK with 4/5 I will do some test on WS, but DRK's proc rate seems to be alot lower. I tested 3/5 on 500 swings to be 4%, and then with 4/5 on 780 swings it was 2%. So I am not really sure what's going on....
