Is it possible to have 2 of the same weapon, with the same augments (mostly interested in 2 of the evasion and OAT katanas)?

Also, how much better is the OAT Axe than maneater assuming lolridill offhand?

No, you can't have two of the same rare tagged item, like every rare tagged item.

Depends on the OAT. If it's Joy/Justice level, a lot better, but it's all just speculation until one is completed.

After checking wiki it seems it would be possible to have 2 of the 12 evasion augmented Kunia because its only Ex whereas the Isatu is Rare/Ex so only possible to have 1 OAT weapon.

I had just assumed they were all Ex only.

out of curiosity, I don't know much about windower macros (not computer savvy enough), but is there a way to macro in an item's ID vs. name in a windower macro? Just thinking about the retardedness of wanting to use more than one avatar - perp cost, without being able to macro swap them....

-1 Perpetuation cost isn't worth the unbelievable headache of trying to make macros and suffer through the neverending stream of trials to make them. Stick to your elemental staves; they bring a lot more to your character.

This might be crazy (or simply wrong... bed time, head not working well sorry), but since all the elemental weapons have the same name, could it be possible to swap them without loosing tp ?
Like using dex katanas and manually switching to PDT ones and keep Tp.

Best place I've found is Boyahda Tree. Bhaf/Wajaom wind is extremely rare. Kuftal also works but the spiders are slightly higher level. I would check the weather NPCs before you go to either location. Selbina/Rabao check Terrigan; Upper Jeuno check Zi'tah. I only go when it mentions correct weather - otherwise you'll be sitting around doing nothing a lot.

After this one's over it gets easier at least.

Even if you can hit six hit without aurum cuirass, you'd still want to use it to enable use of sword strap. It's like a piss colored prison.

Dark Knight was outside the scope of my comment, which was directed at Dragoon who has much less headroom in terms of STP. Bradamante's 507 delay may allow for a bit more leeway, but that is not the case for the majority of the weapons at Dragoon's disposal.

If someone gets the 551 delay 'Impairs Evasion' Scythe, they can cleanly 5-hit with just 37 Store-TP, good enough to free up using bomblet or Pizza, and WS in just +24 (better than trying to split-build at a lower amount and have to WS in all that crap too). Could be a nice setup, and likely the only viable real 5-hit with the evasion down effect included.

551 delay still puts me at 16.7 TP, still a 6-hit.

This I addressed. At this extreme, its better to go for the full hit-build to allow a laxer build for WS. 37 STP for melee for nice round 20.0s. 24 STP on your WS (/SAM, Rajas, Rose) gives you 18.1+3.6 for 21.7 and miss-tolerance (A missed secondary still gets you 20.5) and lets you go all-out on WS for the most part. This is a 'technical split build' in that you're using secondary WS hits to achieve the build but don't need them from zero TP.

If you wanted to do a miss-tolerant split build, you could pull it off with just +34 on the 551 delay to get 98tp in five swings and round it out with WS secondaries. The issue is you still need ~19.4TP on your first WS hit with +33 STP in your WS gear, which is a horrendous amont, just to be sure you get 22TP from a 3-hit Guillo.

Note: Remember that secondaries are affected by STP too, and so if you WS in +30 or higher, they return 1.3 each instead of 1.0. This is why you can aim for 19.4 on your first hit WS return so that two secondaries give you the 22 total.

tl;dr Would you rather TP in 34 STP and have to WS in more than half that gear, or TP in +37 and be able to use all your sweetest gears for WS?

Because its a frikkin' insane build that involves /SAM, Aurum Cuirass, White Tathlum... etc. Check the guide above. Thats exactly the issue is that you have to sacrifice some things to pull it off, but the full build on 551 delay lets you eat pizza or *gasp* accuracy food (and the Evasion Down proc helps too), unlike trying to pull off the full build with a 528 delay for which you'd need Carbonara for sure.

Ignore the +StoreTP displayed, because it uses the 'in campaign' number on Rose strap. This is probably the least impactual way to pull it off.

+22 STP, can WS in just Rose and Rajas.
+25 Acc for 405 total with Pizza on Mithra, use Ace's on Elvaan (fuck yer Madrigal)
