Yes, it's effective as a sub (though better with Atmas). PUP evasion is pretty high too and Dodge from /MNK only adds on top of it. If I'm doing Dominion Ops on PUP, it's always PUP/MNK, you can take a few mobs at the same time safely and still have cures.

You probably don't even need Roaring Laughter unless you the mob you're fighting hits like a billion times, I think it should stack with Gnarled Horn for that like 80 or 90% Counter rate though. Even without it it's like a 70% Counter rate for PUP/MNK and any damage you take can be covered by your WHM or your Soulsoother.

Anyway, I finished my Espafut +2 for Torcleaver. Got 30 Advancement coins too so going to work on Revenant Fists +2 for my PUP and eventual MNK.

Has anyone retested if there is some cap to the actual counter proc rate (not the ACC rate)? With GH and Roaring Laugher, Merits, Counterstance with AF2 feet, and +7 Counter in Misc gear, I feel like I am still getting hit too much.

Although /mnk probably is best, Chloris is such a joke you don't need counterstance per say. You can park any melee in front of him with a curebitch and you'll be fine.

I would even say its maybe better to go /dnc (and stun it after 100fists hate reset below 50%) or /thf for TH or /nin for minimize tp gain. Imo evasion tanking is best because only treat this mob has is doom (shit is random I died like 2 times from it even spamming holy waters and cursna) and more tp moves it will use (counters give tp) more chance for fatal scream. It can also use doom followed by terrorize if you counter tank it or in worst case doom -> terrorize -> 100fists + hate reset and go for your healer when you will still be terrorize and doomed. PUP/mnk has no spike hate tool (I think) that allow you to take hate back after hate reset beside just go and melee/ws it so you will need to run to chloris to take hate while your whm will be unable to cast cursna on you and you will have no time to use holy waters. I know its like the worst case possible but it happened once for me on MNK vs chloris. I never had this problem tho on NIN/war. It barely use TP moves while evasion tanking and single voke is enough to take hate back after hate reset.

I knew I forgot something about PUP I would still use evasion tanking or at least switch to evasion equip while spamming holy waters to avoid giving tp and risking terrorize.

Wanted to thank Kirschy for the motivation to get started and Cair for the advice when I was starting out and had no clue what I was doing.

about 75-80% of the work was dual boxed, and am thankful to get the help I did for the other 20-25%. Each person may have played a varying size part, but added up you all took about a quarter off my work load. Been thinking about doing it myself, we just got done completing 85 vere in 4 1/2 nights. However we also did scythe and Gaxe aswell so ppl are tired of canyon/chasm, think Ill stick with getting masa til we go back to canyon.
