just woke up lol thanks all ^^

GS is fun, but hard to build 6 hits outside abyssea... yea its pretty much a drk's masamune. I need to run SSR boss to get 25 ares hands for my final vit piece (+56 vit atm for WS)

heart aint bad....i get 25 hearts a day casually. rightabout 5 hearts an hour. I split them into 2 hours and 3 hours so it aint that stressful. I do have to work!

Apademak took me way longer. I average 1 horn per hour on that mofo....

buhkis is by far the worse NM in abyssea i do have to agree lol

apoc used to be dabomb because of putting u to haste cap....and it drains HP. I can find it still very useful outside abyssea. in abyssea, you can pretty much cure bomb. So GS definately better and hits much faster for those crits(before/after aftermath effect)

im not sure about empy scythe but if i dont have an apoc, i will definately make it. This GS is just a toy for my fav job so AT LEAST when i wanna play drk for fun in abyssea, i got a weapon that still can dish something out ^^

This is pretty true. When i did apademak, i have a SAM friend that buy jewels and help deal damage with his sam. He is 1 of the most geared sam on the server with amano 90 and masamune. His fudo damage varies from 500 to 1500. We saw so many 500s that he got pissed off and switched to amano for onstant 1.1k-ish damage. Atmas he used was RR GH and VV. Maybe he used the wrong atmas as he was doing TEs before i hit apademak. since fudo is almost as equal to torcleaver they should work the same and will be less effective on insanely high defense mobs

It's about even in potential, as far as I can tell but in practice, Smite usually is the better of the two at least as far as I've experienced since getting my Revenant Fists a few days ago.

Quick Glance, I've opted for RR/VV/Stout, is there a better combination for atmas? I've noticed that rng atmas are generally kinda shit.

Also, did I overlook anything crucial?

Sea Daughter/RR/SA

Cavaros Mantle might be worth your while as well.

Thundersoul Ring is cheapish if you can get someone to synergize.

Yup that really isn't a good combo for Fudo WS damage at all, Fudo just feeds on immense attack, I think if you focus on WS damage then the best atma is likely SA/Omega atma/apol or maybe SA/SB/Apol? (Red curry buns would help too, but if you're cheap like I am maybe some yellow curry buns to ease the gimpy SAM feel?)

(Notice I do say Fudo WS damage, I'm not sure it's the best combo for overall damage.)

P/s: Rant at SE, isn't it about time we get better food or new tiers of food!

Apoc/A&O/RR is probably the better/best combo for Masamune sam total damage. And Apoc/VV/SB being the better fudo damage combo. However, buffs/mob dependant.

I haven't finished my set and testing yet because i'm on a BLU and WAR powertrip, but ...

Head: Consider using Aias bonnet, I think I calc'd it is better than Maat's for Coronach but I can't find my spreadsheet.
Hands: Screw Hachiryu hands, I can't find them anymore. I think I passed up a 1M one 3 months ago and hating myself for it now.
Back: I'm using Cavaros now but haven't compared to Cuch

Atmas: I haven't fully tested yet because I'm usually triboxing in a hurry :\ ... consider the following in addition to RR/Stout .. I don't use VV on RNG
- Sea Daughter: Love it for the regain which will increase DoT but if you want higher individual Jishnu numbers use something else
- Omnipotent: I don't have this yet so I haven't been able to test it, has DEX+50 I think
- Gnarled Horn: AGI+50 and Crit Hit Rate+20% (should cap your crit hit rate from atmas if that theory still exists)

Obviously Aias is stronger than Maat's, but how marginal is STR/DEX+1 going to be, especially in abyssea? worth inv-1?
I've been flipping between Cava and Cuchu, still havent done sufficient testing to be sure.

I completely overlooked Sea Daughter while I was putting atmas on last night lol

I think Anwig Salade with DEX4, crit dmg+2%/AGI4, WS dmg+2% is a good option for Jishnu's as well (also works well for Evi, Smite, Jin/Hi, I suppose).

I can't really comment on that considering I have neither, but I would assume the difference is minimal.

Yeah I should really start that mission line .. I've thought about doing this for too long. Only add-on I haven't touched yet.
