I've seen so many noobs wipe to Carabosse lately, it's retarded. How do people wipe to Carabosse? I waited 20 minutes once when this group was wiping, but they kept zombieing nonstop, and fighting it weakened. (Fucking Apoc atma) Finally, it used cyclonic turmoil and killed them all at once (why the fuck was the whm meleeing?) and it went idle for 2 tics, so I took it. Should have just taken it when they were pretty much already done and it kept going yellow, but I was nice ;(

if your trio boxing, you will be a lil busy on MNK cos u need a lil more cures than on nin, so you prolly dont have time to run in and out for songs. If your brd account have a THF job, then it will be perfect.... every x2 helps ^^

best way i've seen is WHM BRD THF purely for th and if you have the cruor you can get all 3 done in the time it takes for brew to wear off done this a few times seen 2 scales drop 14 times in a row now

I can normally do five Dragua per brew, six if I'm perfect about everything. I use THF/RDM (TH5! I only have TH3 though.) Martial Knife + Novio Earring + Hecate's Earring = 16.5k Aeolian Edge (18.5k if you have 200+ TP.) This is with Ultimate/Gates/Beyond. Hell's Guardian will push it up even more (as well as other misc MAB gear that I don't have.) It takes me 5 AE to kill it, 4 if the Detonation skillchain procs for good damage (sometimes 15k.) However, it seems like every time I pop a Primeval Brew, some random JPs come along and pop Dragua while my party members get aggro or some weird shit and I have to stay locked on a box for like 20 minutes while they fight it.

Either way, I think this is a good approach to Dragua for many people. Zerging with Fanatic's works well too but I often find myself short staffed for such a thing. About 7 brews, a WAR & a THF and a bunch of leeches could probably get all 75 scales done in about 4-5 hours if all went well.

Also, in regards to the JP thing. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that the JPs have suddenly become immensely more rude since the release of Abyssea. It's like JP only shit but 100 times worse. I mean there are still some really cool JPs, but it seems like the JP onry people have reached a point where they won't even respond to your tells and refuse to cooperate in any way when it's clearly in their benefit to do so. For instance, today we were messing around finding the best way to cleave shit in Ule. A JP PLD shows up on the detector mobs we were going for and starts to farm cruor by cleaving them as well (he's solo, mind you.) I offered to team up with him, which is clearly to his advantage as we had a legion of leeches who would use keys for him, but he refused and continued trying to pull every detector mob he could. It was like a breaking point for me, fed up with all the terrible rudeness and elite JP bullshittery that seems to have overwhelmed them. I spent the rest of my time using Aeolian Edge to finish off his mobs (that is, until an SGM appeared.)

its already in a stage where the NAs are more pro-efficient. most JP just jealous what we can do now not many JP can dual box too due to not everyone can have 2x PS2 or xbox 360, have 2 TV and play side by side with 2 controllers....so to them, abyssea is still a very sought after content and they enjoy it in groups...yet we are "destroying" something which is supposed to be "hard(empy)" and making them so easy to get

dont you find it funny how JP are some of the most creative people on the planet, yet in FFXI they are still stubborn and not creative in alot of things they do?

They do get stuck in routines very easily. I remember getting into "first provoke for THF to SATA" parties just before 80 cap. This were with well geared JPs too.
