Below is one of our experiences with JPNs.

Last night while me and friends farming TE with SMN 2hrs burn and or BLU CW.
2 JPNs popped, they purposely made mobs pop to IT level to make my pull/ train harder. But since I'm THF, they failed!
Then one of them change to /whm to train before me, casting aggro...grabbed all mobs. (I was THF/nin).
We ended to stop our farming coz they just trained and depop them /sigh...

After 2 hours we stopped, they left. We continued to do our farm again. Now even bad that a few JPN SMNs showed up, "Odin" our slept mobs, while our BLU trying to Charged Whisker them.

I called GM, and GM told me that they did nothing wrong...

JPN time zone is no more fun to me. I used to like JPN players for being skillful, but now they are just fucking rude and I'll never pick them up if I ever made any shout event or being nice to them...

JPs are mostly shit, they were never really "skilled", they were just better than us cause we were noobs at the time. Don't feel bad hating on them!

There are still some cool JP out there, I entered plataeu to work on Carabosse, and there was a JP nin/dnc killing it, so I grumbled a bit about it but went to kill the KI NMs. All of a sudden that NIN walks up to me, says something in /s in squiggles, and sends me a random ally invite. I accepted, and he was giving me the 2 cara gems that were in pool cuz he didn't need them, it really made my night lol

But as far as shitty JP, there are still a ton of those too, the night before the Cara gems, I was brewing 4 Dragua after JPs got done taking 40mins to kill one, and after my first one I had brew locked, they ignored me and popped the dargon and wasted my shit D<

I have mostly bad experiences with them tbh, especially in regards to taking turns popping a NM.

The few English-speaking JP's that I'm friendly with tell me that generally, JP's refuse to take turns with NA's in popping NM's because they just automatically assume all NA's are rude assholes that will just pop NM's as quickly as possible without regard for others. Kinda sucks, but it is what it is I guess.

I'm more than willing to take turns, but the lack of "lets take turns?" in translate or something to that effect makes it pretty difficult. The fact that you usually get the silent treatment when you try and say us next or something doesnt usually help.

Either way, we end up killing a good 2-3 times quicker, even if it's just 2 of us.

JPs are either ridiculously nice and move camp / give you your NM back or they move on top of your NM and try to out pop you.

Except it's not just JPs, its NAs, EUs, every nationality has its good and bad people. FFXI typically has bad people.

Every god damn time I take the time to take someones wiped mob, kill it for them after reprocing red and yellow and inviting them before it dies I get fucking threatened to be GM'd what the fuck! I know GM can't do shit cause a white mob is a fair mob as long as the party isn't like charmed or something and other members of the party are just running for their lives... I think that's the only condition I don't know for sure but really.. Fuck trying to be nice it doesn't pay off.

Being charmed and being able to be attacked by players is apart of the game. I been chainspell nuked multiple times when I used to camp bandomusha Kote's long time ago and I been hit by an Asc.Fury by a gimp brown belt monk once during RANI who was unable to kill me as I have 4k HP. When our noob Ninja failed to win with the first brew on rani, we let it go yellow and let him get another brew. It regened a considerable amount and then the mnk got his boys together to claim the mob.... that asc. fury brown belt monk taru got charmed.....

/grin... he was unfortunantly 1 shotted by my stalwarts drink, champions drink, red curry victory smite at 300% TP... Thats why I try not to treat ppl like shit anymore cause it always comes back to haunt you.
