Once again if you don't farm time, and you spend 4hrs+ a day in-zone doesn't make much sense really.

And also I don't understand how people get that many stones? friend of mine bought first expansion when it came out, was out of game for well over 3 months, came back we got him all the -4hr abyssites. he only had 176 stones. 320 stones for someone who has made 4 90 empy's sounds like a flat lie.

Silly to even ask or argue about it though since non of it really matters. you could have 9million stones and would be completely irrelevant lol.

I really don't see how having 302 stones could be a lie. You can seriously join a pickup group cleave, have them get you 500-600 minutes and cap lights, and finish an entire first tier of an empyrean in that time + the TEs you get while doing it, thus possibly not using a single stone.

yes this is by far the most frustrating part....i also have to D2 and change my war into a thf for the main NM after procing the reds

I really don't see how having 302 stones could be a lie. You can seriously join a pickup group cleave, have them get you 500-600 minutes and cap lights, and finish an entire first tier of an empyrean in that time + the TEs you get while doing it, thus possibly not using a single stone.

yea, when im tired i will also join shouts to dual box and charge up free time + lvling some other jobs

ever since my 2nd son knows how to walk, i do not have the luxury to sit infront of the PC 4 hours straight...

now i just do 1 hour intervals x4...get food, watch movie, look after my damn tarus in between -_-

Yeah. I burnt myself out lately. I'd love to do an Almace or Kannagi or just a 3rd empyrean in general, just can't gather together the patience to do so. Also would help if I had more than just 1 mule to hold KIs on.

What I usually do is build up a ton of time, max amber, and then kill NMs. It works great when I planned to spend like 10 hours in a zone, could get 20 or so carabosse gems easy. That did bring up the issue of not being able to change jobs, though. Was stuck on MNK for everything, so couldn't proc reds. And no TH

The only issue with buying pops is that I only have like 4~5mil, and a briareus pop costs like 100~110k lol.

if you have a thf with full TH and atma, just cyclone/aeolian everything in between pop times or when someone is fighting the NM. i can get 1-2, sometimes 3 if all mobs drops and i get to save some money ^^

i buy the rest off AH as i usually D2 right after every set to save that few minutes (sometimes more if TH being a bitch)

When I did mine, I would just go in with 120, do as much Briareus as I could, then go back get more stones and start again...

After a while this killed my stone stock, so I would just grab an exp party on my war, build lights + a little time, then leave the party bring in the mules and cleave time + exp for my mules jobs that I wanted leveled. Worked well and from that point on I didn't use a single stone

Chloris is way longer than that giga and i spent about the same amount of time 4 hours per day for a few days. I farmed everything from scratch which amounts to 15 triggers. I managed to get 4 full pops sets from amber chests and doing TEs up to 400+ that day but that took like 9 hours so I gave up on that part. As far as a I know, the giga is only 3 trigs 3 NMs to pop...
Another thing to note is that noone levels in tahringi anymore and its hard to find a pt to get TE from. Everyone and their mom does worms in latheine and its very easy to get unlimited time in less then 45 mins on worms.

4 hours a day on brisarius for a few days sounds just about right with 4 level 90s considering my friend finished kannagi (80) in 1 week with just his 90 nin and thf90/whm45 mule. (yes whm sub lol, he wanted 2 helms per pop.)

im online almost 24 hours a day (i dont off my PC, downloading psp games, movies etc)

i only spend 4 hours in abyssea a day, usually intervals of an hour.

and for isgebind.....everyone on earth can tell u how easy it is to get 75 hearts lol

easily 4 isgebind an hour W/O competition but because u need 25 more, it takes the same amount of time u need to gather 50 sobek skin/ CC lantern etc

my most severe timesink is apademak pre-patch, 3 horn per hour max... pure win and it took me approx 25 days cos i gave up grinding that pos and target 5 horn max a day

for carabosse/briareus/CC/sobek, i target 20 per day, VERY RARELY i get more a day, depending kyraa and another friend wanna drop by to help

i get 5 an hour, 4 hours 1 day, and sometimes i get lucky and get more 2s but i have yet to encounter 4 item in 3 pops twice in a day so yea, thats about right

i also buy if people sell, which is very rare....only managed to buy 1 sobek skin for almace...

that doesnt mean i only play 4 hours a day tho, i mean im INSIDE ABYSSEA 4 hours daily

i DID NOT ease through it. Its 4 hours of pure focus and work and non slacking run around the fucking place, timing every minute to make sure i dont miss a heqet or gukumatz pop yet making every minute count while popping the others for KI...

which is why i take intervals.....the most i can handle is 2 consecutive hours of the "work"

imagine if i farm the triggers and farm TE before i begin the NMs... it will definately take more than 4 hours...do i want that? no, so i use more stones

Because he plays more but he cant admit it. He has a plan of 4h a day farming but probably every second day he breaks this rule and not even noticing this. He probably also count like me sometimes 1h20 + 1h25 +1h15+ 1h19 = 4h cuz rounding up ^^ and if in a month he makes 4h farm for 25 days and 5 days of 10h+ he still not counting those probably (it has some name in psychology :D)

That or he just make rule of 4h farming like 5 days ago and he thinks it works backward ^^

I believe him tho on that he might now play 4h a day farming if he buys triggers and not farm TE cuz those 2 things is simply 75% of total time spent on farming empy.

carabosse's path is extremely fast and easy. you know that right? its the only NM you can pop maybe 4 sets an hour. NMs are near each other and only require 2 KI

and yea i prolly used more than 4 hours even w/o noticing since i guage by finishing up a round using 1-2 stones per interval depending how much time im left

i may just play more even tho i set a target of 4H a day w/o noticing

Got two done (1 main 1 mule), and two WoE versions...dont need more, wont use em. And yes, I'm aware Caba is disgustingly easy (dont tell Malacite that though), which was a focal point to my rage when I was doing Chloris.
