You're shitting things up because for you to try and maintain any credibility you have to go attacking windmills as opposed to providing anything worth discussing. By doing this frequently you shit things up. It's pretty simple. Not to say that I think you could provide any amazing insights for anything in game anyway. But really, carry on attacking a decent player over something trivial.

if you brew, im sure you can get about 3-4 prolly if you have a good WS like blade hi or smite

he resist all elements except water afaik...so aeolian and earth crusher might not work

Khimaira's are generally weak to ice...and I think brew adds everything, including macc. I'm pretty sure when our Apad got out of hand, one of our blm's brewed and casted all spells without many problems.

use GSD and herc slash? Probably not the best WS to use (1.0 TP mod across the board), but if resists are a worry, Ice WS should be a go.

Hm, guess I'll try herc/hi and see which I can get better numbers out of. I'll probably just stick to freezebite since, afaik, there should be no difference between it and herc except for the higher ftp on freeze.

From seeing damage numbers on brewed Earth Crusher (about 3-4k, with improper atmas, but thats still disgustingly low), I wouldnt expect much on freezebite. I could be wrong on this though.

Any screenshots of Earth Crusher, Aeolian Edge, or any other WS damage on Apademak while brewed? I've only ever experienced resists on those weaponskills when it's against a mob that clearly has a resistance against a specific element (Aeolian Edge not working on Isgeband, for instance.)

I'm not sure why some Aeolian's vary so much...is it cause my personal aeolian gearswaps are failing to change cause I'm in a menu or selection from spamming? Would it cause that much of a difference?

I have the same issue with nukes. I think it's due to the small window of resistance build-up against a particular element since you're spamming in a small time frame, but I'm not familiar with the mechanics of the resist since I usually filter nukes from others.

You are very wrong here. Herculean Slash was patched at some point and it's 3.5 fTP and 60% VIT and its one of the best ele WS for brew.

Razed Ruins is utterly pointless to use during brew. Your stats get capped at 999 regardless of your atma.

THF/RDM or NIN/RDM (the subjob you should be using for AE on these jobs) gives you 24 MAB, Ultimate gives you 50 MAB, and Novio/Hecate's put you at 87 MAB. At this point, Baying Moon will increase your marginal damage by 34.5% while Hell's Guardian pushes it up by 57.5%. Aeolian Edge is 2.75 > 3.5 > 4 fTP, thus Smiting Blow adds a marginal 27.3%. However, I'm sure that the 34.5%/57.5% numbers are inaccurate, Trascendency is probably adding some amount of MAB that's currently unknown (long been suspected.) It doesn't look like you're using Martial Knife (which is essentially another Smiting Blow atma.) If you had been using this, Smiting Blow would only increase marginal damage by 14.3%. Using Martial Knife with the proper subjob and gear (could get better than this but I consider 2 MAB rings to be a waste of effort) would mean that this unknown MAB bonus would have to exceed 122 for Smiting Blow to be better than Baying Moon or Beyond (262 for Hell's Guardian.)

I'd guess Transcendency is probably +100 MAB based on your damage logs. Smithing Blow might actually be a better choice for Freezebite, especially if you have Martial Sword (1 > 1.5 > 3.0). I'm not familiar with MAB gear available for Freezebite though.

Some old testing,

With no MAB, staff or multipliers a dINT capped Stone 1 is 42 damage.

Stone on SAM/SCH against Bugard in Vision zones with cruor buffs/MM 42 damage.

With Brew damage was 420.

42 * 9.99 = 419.58
42 * 10.00 = 420.00

Then adding on Novio/Hecate (13 MAB) damage was 425.

42 * 1.13 * 9.00 = 427.14
42 * 10.13 = 425.46

Should prove its 900 MAB unless I'm doing something wrong?

Seems like something isn't adding up then. The observed marginal gain between Baying Moon & non Baying Moon was 13.72% when it would have theorically only been at most around 3.16%.

Edit: Maybe it's the fact that it's past 3 here, but it seems like you've made a tremendous error when even trying to apply MAB to your calculation? 900 MAB would yield a 378 (42 * 900/100) damage Stone I. Also I've sometimes found the results from magic damage calculations to sometimes bee off by a point or two (they're otherwise fairly accurate.) I wouldn't say Stone I is a good spell to go by due to truncation errors.

Wouldn't you start at 100/100?

100/100 for *1, 105/100 for 1.05 etc. 100+900/100 for 420.

As far as other spells go, would need to know where dINT caps.

As far Aeolian Edge goes, you would need to know TP at each WS as fTP changes, possible MDB(look how much more damage the Ergdrake took), then add in the resistance nerf for same element damage and you have a lot of variance.

edit, original logs from when I did it: (water also matches going from the 66 cap to 660, I'm not sure of dINT cap on Fire.)

If you're using the average Aeolian Edge numbers that Nynja posted to get that 13%, those numbers are subject to resists and ftp variations. Therefore, those numbers are meaningless when trying to determine the amount of MAB during brew because the values are not consistent.
