If you take a step back, the VIT affecting crits works inside and outside Abyssea. And as we all know, it's not just the natural increase in pdif from a crit, but the +30% crit damage from RR that makes crit damage so high in Abyssea. If they were to nerf crit rate to a horrible degree, crits outside abyssea would end doing the same or less damage than a normal hit. Which is not something I think would sit well with the community.

I see 3 very possible scenarios:
1) The VIT/Crit only affects NPC to PC. (Meaning our crits would be unaffected. Similar to how the Subtle Blow/AGI system works in reverse.)
2) They use a fVIT (non-linear function)
3) They use a dVIT (linear function)

Idk why you keep making empy you almost wont use instead of:
a) make an mythic (more rare and more epeen which seems to be important in your case)
b) make some support empy/relic/mythic for mule (yagrush, gjallahorn etc.)

The answer for me will probably be points on ffxiah

Ok I will make it more clear:
The a) was option for him to make something more epeen because that seems to be a reason for him to keep doing empy, also Ryunohige shits over empy.
In case he after all not only after epeen but something effective then much better would be: Gjallahorn, Daurdabla, Carwenhan, Yagrush etc. on his mule or even some zerg friendly empy on mule to have an option to zerg on 2 chars.

Haha, why do people always critique Arthar's motivations (and comment on his <100mil gil) every time he posts a new Empyrean?

Maybe the guy just finds farming NMs for an Empyrean fun. I actually kind of do. Cleaving Tahrongi is really pretty relaxing for me, at least, and I could see someone with HNM experience enjoying competing with people for claiming NMs like Amun or Tunga.

PS. He keeps under 100mil on his main account so that he can't accidentally buy a 99'd item.
