reading this thread has made me so glad that I moved to a "backwater" server.

They will gold box all KIs is my prediction.

Unless you're targeting all NMs in a zone, it'd be a placebo rather than a fix. Let's say I want Amun's KI, because Percy is np to get and all I want is fangs. I got to Amun's Aery and find 4 groups there - fun times. Or I could cleave for gold boxes, which aren't guaranteed to hold KIs, and aren't guaranteed to hold the one(s) I want. It'll help, and sure provides another option, but pretending that adding all KIs to boxes is a "fix" is a bit off to me. That said, I still hope they do it, but my bigger hope is for multiple ???s to pop NMs and being able to pop more NMs rather than have to camp them. I have my doubts that any of it will happen, though :/

you take that back!...although i do agree Sylph was a good place to start again, can get claim on most NMs during NA prime time but during JP prime you are looking at port jeuno living in Mis coast

It all pales in comparison to getting Colorless Souls. Hearing someone claim they got 75 in 3 days had me yelling bullshit at the computer screen.

Im hoping all T3 VNM drop souls after this update and the rate on doubles falls into line with all of the other Empyrean NMs. People need to be spread the fuck out. Chione is camped for seals and while you can negotiate popping it for someone in order to get upgrades that still doesn't stop the system from delivering copious amounts of "fuck you" when the T2 refuses to upgrade.

and also i tried collecting colorless souls for my PLD that i never play but its already camped like mad on ifrit so its unrealistic for 3 days collecting 75 souls... i only got 17 in 3 days. 2 of the T2 only changed color after like 20 shivas, which is already 5ish hours, so 75 souls in 3 days really sounded BS to me. It can happen tho if u have all the luck and no competition.

I then decided to hack it and just camped 50 lanterns instead for a gun at least :\ carabosse has nothing to camp against except the ??? but i guess thats better than heqet/tunga ._.

or they can make all party gets KI and then make all empy NMs drop 1 empy item max. this way people can ally up so all get KI haha but another problem surface which is ??? congestion XD

What no piercing damage? How'd you calculate that number, do you know that's the order things multiplied/truncated etc. or are you just guessing?

I've been wondering what the max barrage damage could be but have very few chances to play rng since abyssea came out ;_; and don't even know if set proc and relic proc can happen on the same barrage. Was that a theory or has this been seen already?

The double drop rate on ogopogo is very high, atleast 75% of mine dropped 2 souls and majority of kills were done as mnk/thf with dread. I only fought 4 maere, 3 of which dropped single and 1 dropped double, 2 Brulos both dropped singles (these were all done with with TH4/5 thf). I know that the sample size is very small but ogo definitely does have a double drop rate matching the other 90emp upgrade NMs.

I never lost a claim on t2 or t3 using apradar or gaydar, even in jp prime with 3 groups camping Chione.

yea my little group all uses gaydar and when we are soul hunting for our brd (she's literally tearing her hair out over this stage lol) we generally run everyone out of range. Still the best we've done is 16 souls in an 8 hour farming day, the next time we net 3 souls in 7 hours. Its just ridiculous, and needs to be changed.

Speaking of Colorless Souls, congrats to Seraphpdh of Odin for Ochain (90). We banged out 45 of them over the last five days before the server merge, and we couldn't be more thankful to the JPs for getting out of our way over the weekend. Guess finishing up those 85 Kannagis was just too important.
