makes sense; all i know is, back when i'd screw around with leaden (before abyssea), it'd get resisted pretty much every single time, so my initial assumption was that wildfire would be the same way, but i suppose the new gear certainly is a vast improvement over what corsair use to have mab/m.acc-wise, ignoring perhaps a base magic accuracy boost alongside wildfire, much like the rumored(?) ukko's fury base critical hit rate being higher than expected

5400 was on the BR Spawning Rampart ( idk if they take extra damage I assume they do ) on all 4 floors it broke 5k to be the killing blow on them. I dont come corsair overly often outside of abyssea, but I mean it never drops below 1300~ on anything ive fought. And I know on corsair main Slugs peak like 2200~ last time I used them alot. so I mean getting ODD ontop of that is nice. Specially when triple shot procs which I feel is rather often.

I still think so, only reason I haven't gotten a Laser Tag Rifle myself is cuz I still like my hand held cannon. 300TP Leaden Salute w/ aftermath + Triple Shot = bye bye oberon's bullets (and hp). Good thing I can hq the fuck out of them with capped synergy lol.

I've seen a surprisingly high number of people with level 85 empy staff. Is it purely a bored epeen thing or does it actually have some uses?

Mainly epeen, but no one will scoff at 20-40-60% MP restored with 100-200-300% TP (don't even need to go close to the mob). Valid mainly in abyssea I would imagine, but the lack of any cure potency/mab bonus makes it kinda derp in most scenarios. This would be one weapon whereby the WoE version would also work quite well. lolMeleeSMN would probably get some use out of this, since it could be an alternative to -perp staves.
