I've seen a surprisingly high number of people with level 85 empy staff. Is it purely a bored epeen thing or does it actually have some uses?

For a SMN who is sticking to Physical BPs rather than Magical (inside Abyssea), it's nice. You can use VV instead of MM and maintain MP no problem.

As Kegsay said, it's a self-target WS. So with the regain you get from VV, you don't need to melee or even be near the mob to use it.

Relic +1 comes from dreamland zones. AF+1 comes from limbus.

Congrats, you pointed out something else we all already knew, Dynamis gear +1 is technically limbus gear thats true. Just like 80+ Mythics / relics are now magian weapons!
