My LS leader and I finished up some trials for our weapons - Liltulip already has a 85 Verethragna, and we pretty much knocked out her Armaggeddon 80 stage in a couple of days. In addition, we completed my Crein-Cron stage on Masamune as well, and here's our pics!

Yes, I know I'm missing a white tathlum and Tactical Mantle, and could get a +2 SAM body (4/5 SAM AF3+2), but in all honesty, I'm happy where I am right now. 5 hit will come soon enough!

Thanks to Equilibrium Linkshell for helping me finish this stage! Ignesbind awaits, and should probably be a lot faster than the previous two stages. :D

Wow, since I keep getting /tells and messages about what a loser I am for taking so long on my Gandiva. So here's the timeline.

I didn't spend 7 months going "Anyone wanna help me kill XXX mob so I can get XXXX for my Gandiva?

I got out of hospital after transplant, finished my Harrier +2, then decided to work on my Gandiva.(This was after new years) Got up to the Fistule stage pretty quickly, solo'd 24 of Discharges with Atma of the Ducal guard before I ended up in hospital for 4 weeks and DG got nerfed. After I got out, I did a bunch of Bukhis with my LS and got 23 Wings. Then I didn't think about my Gandiva for months. I started it up again like 3 weeks ago and finished it no prob.

Okay, now stop calling me Malamyrrh and saying I'm a friendless loser, ect, ect. Was starting to annoy me.

@Vagus: I've had 85 Farsha about 2 weeks now. This is what I know. for non brew, you give up way too much in the dot aspect to make cloudsplitter even worth a fuck. Use VV/RR/Apoc and just rampage spam. if you want to just use it for aftermath affect thats fine, but dont expect much.

For brewing however, its A+ choice.
Atmas:Use Lion, Blinding horn, and smiting blow
Gear:tp bonus +100 axe for offhand(better than MAB magian axe), Novio earring, Hecate earring, 2 mab rings from tahrongi, ws dmg+ head from moogle missions, mab pants from shantotto,
thunder belt/thunder gorget
*If thunder day, zodiac ring/rairin obi/artemis medal is better than mab ring/thunder belt/thunder gorget
Ascetic's drinks, Diabolos favor, and wizard's roll will add to your dmg, but not enough to NEED them.
You will 4 shot 2/3 grand wyrms, but you cannot fight Dragua as it is lightning resistant.
You will 2 shot everything else, except the 2 Khimaira in Ule, as they are lightning based.
You will 2 shot Ultima if in 2legs mode.
For some mobs, you will break the dmg cap in log which is 65,536 and you will just see the rollover. aka, "Vagus uses Cloudsplitter, Bukhis takes 2000 points of dmg" yet buhkis is at 19% after 1 ws.

Dont waste time upgrading to 90, it wont help brew damage.

Pft, real life health issues such as needing a double lung transplant is hardly reason to be slow on finishing an emp, suck less.

Yeah, I know Mal. I'm also helping others clear out their empyreans (Chloris can rot in hell for all I care, wtf was SE thinking in making all that farming for one pop set...). Carbosse and CC are comparatively easy to farming stuff like that. Almost everyone in our LS is working or have at least an 85 Empyrean, some have two. The only thing that really sucks is some of the mobs for farming popsets are horrible - Tunga, for one. -.-;;; I'll finish stage 90 soon enough!

@NML, yeah, I left after I got an opportunity to join up with EQ, and haven't looked back since. I'm pretty happy here on Bismarck now. I think your friend Xylinia and her sister just server transferred there too couple weeks ago.

Magian TP bonus weapons work in offhand. The old Martial weapons do not.

I have some really awesome LS mates that helped me with this. Monk was my first 75, so only fitting I suppose. We've finished a nice string of emps in the past few days.

Yeah, still only +1 shoes, but I run by enough brown belts to not feel too terrible while I upgrade those.

Neat: Did you just do Monk + WHM while farming KI's from chests? We recently finished Scythe/Polearm/H2H, so potentially going to be living out there for awhile.

there was 8 of us all together (i cheated i seem to have friends :/) and we all started with a pop so didn't start off at a disadvantage mostly farmed the gold boxes while we held the KI NM for most of the time while we was there

BLU cleaving for pops, whatever job brewing Draguas and locking on a chest between. 37+ pops in 5.5 hours shouldn't be that bad, though still cutting it pretty tight. If you can average one pull every 3 minutes, that's ~110 pulls; about 50 pops means 1 pop every other pull on average. If you get a decent sized pull that's not too terrible on odds.

It wouldn't be very efficient -- and certainly not very likely -- but could be theoretically possible.

Yeah cleaving for those KI is the way to go. When I was helping mafai we got 4 KI in one pull, was sick.
