Yeah it's not really worth atmaing up specifically for in normal melee situations - I tend to gank soothing light chests to get TP if no one else is and ride the aftermath a bit... but brewed it's pretty fun.
Tarus about the only race that can make that AF3 body look non-hideous![]()
I saw him brewing a ton of bukhis with wildfire, so, I doubt he would use that axe over it D; lol
Which is kind of lame. I wanted to do that axe, but it just seems so... lackluster.
It is quite lackluster. Lol. Luckily i love bst enough that axe is fun. In terms of brewing, i'll use Wildfire over Cloudsplitter. Thanks for the info Gippo. MaB does effect the WS, however using atma's purely to increase CS #'s hurts my overall total damage. I just use RR/VV/Ultimate and load up on MaB gear. My WoE GaX warrior will out damage my bst so in abyssea i'll usually take that route. For anyone considering getting this axe. Only consider it, if you love bst. If you're a warrior, get Ukon or the WoE GaX. Maybe i should jump onto the SE forums and demand the axe be fixed. Lol. Too bad aftermath doesn't transfer over to my pet.
TARU SHEEP BST POWAH!

For some reason, it never even crossed my mind that PUP could use Verethragna, haha.
Congrats.

Looking for party plz invite.
It could be 1.25 and still be better due to aftermath.
Because that's not how fTP works.
Only the first hit of a multi hit WS is modified, the rest are 1.0. Pummel is 5.75, Smite is 5.25. In addition, aftermath for H2H is less significant than other weapons as it can only proc on one hand.
That said, no idea which is better in the long run.
Aftermath for H2H is just about as significant as the Aftermath for all 1H weapons.
Yes but that's an artificial penalty because 1h emps are usually going to be dual wielded. In the case of H2H it's a deliberate limit placed on the weapon.
You lost me. H2H gets Empyrean base damage on both swings of their 2-hit attack round but double damage on only one of them. DW Empyreans get double damage on one swing of their 2-hit attack round and have to use an inferior base damage offhand.
They're essentially identical, except H2H gets a better deal.
A PLD wielding Almace/shield gets empyrean base damage and ODD on all of their attacks, thus the "penalty" to 1h emps is an artificial one that comes as the cost of using DW.
You can't single wield an H2H weapon so the weapon was deliberately designed so that only 1 of the hands could proc ODD.
Paladin is the only 1H job that single wields ever, and it's only when they aren't DDing. ODD aftermath should apply to both hands for all jobs. Even then, 1H jobs get a worse deal than 2H jobs because both of their hands aren't holding Empyreans (damn you SE I want my second Twashtar!).
