+2 items?
+2 items?
Oh, that was in response to why grellow briareus. I missed a post, my bad.
I dunno, I remember some debate in a thread, not sure which, that the +2 items from the first zones are only affected by TH.
Pretty sure grellow was required to get stone off of briareus.
Grellow helps but iirc if it's like glavoid you can get them without grellow at low drop rate. No real point in bothering without grelow imo obv.
Ive never seen a stone drop of Briareus without yellow proc.
That's been the case for me; stone of voyage would never drop from Briareus without yellow and Coin of voyage would never drop from Carabosse without yellow.
oops, didn't f5 before the last response. oh well
A) Who still needs +2 crap these days.
B) The drop rate is hardly spectacular on stones with grellow, but the drop rate on jewels is pretty high even with it.
C) It would be exponentially faster to have kept the WAR on WAR and just killed it. If you really need stones, you could use the time you save to farm Bukhis with the bonus of gandiva or farsha items and whatever body stuff he drops.

yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Thanks to my LS Wander, and Skeero/Flowers/Procthered LS for giving me pops at 3 AM est :D took too long and did 46 lanterns in 2 days ~.~
Edit: Mithra ass
Spoiler: show
Might take a few minutes longer to kill, but you save plenty more time since you don't have to farm as many pops. Its honestly a waste of your minutes [just like it always was] to try and proc. Hit TH, get down to business, and pop the next one.
I can see the logic on something that drops 2 or 3 +2 items. I can't see it on stuff that only drops 1 of what you need. Maybe you could make an exception for the stuff that drops Scars-zone cards just because VNM are inconvenient. Doing it for an item that drops from Bukhis and Durinn is just stupid.
Did ~70 Brias to finish a Sword and Katana recently. We never once saw a Stone of Voyage without grellow being procced, and then it was 100%. The Jewel of Voyage appeared to be TH based, because the 15 or so we did without TH dropped 1, maybe 2 Jewels, and the others dropped it about 75% with TH8+. For our group personally, we've come to the conclusion that one drop is forced on grellow while one is based on TH (for the mobs that they added new drops too). Also done 25~ CCs and 30~ Sobeks, Stone of Wieldance off CC hasnt dropped without grellow, and Stone of Ardor hasnt dropped off Sobek without Grellow. Just our observations, and we've done well by it so far.
Pointless argument really, but recently farming 50 helms always killing with thf + whm I never had a stone drop without triggered grellow through ninjitsu or light/dark day. Was paying attention to it as well, because I just finished WAR on my mule and needed the stones for WAR +2 feet.
