Why not just AE brew 3 at a time? And since we're on the topic. Sanguine blade or Cataclysm for warrior brewing?

Same reason you dont set MAB atma's you get capped MAB from brew and its useless to use any beyond that.

I'd be interested to see testing on it being capped - I was under the impression it was +900 MAB. Further MAB did add damage, but the % increase was so small (+50/1000 = 5% gain) versus +element atma(+10-40%) you always stacked on elements first.

MAB beyond brew definitely makes a difference. Go CS a shinryu or something with no MAB atmas and with. I saw it when using using atma slots for regain vs mab when trying to proc.

If Firebreak is a breath move, MDT won't help (At least it doesn't help mobs).

I don't think it's a breath move. I guess I'm not entirely sure though.

Supposedly it only has a base of 2500 damage, and is reduced by shell according to wiki. It's power never went down with HP so idk. Either way, it's irrelephant, I need an MDT set

And I wouldn't have died if I had max HP. 3300 HP is awesome.

Actually it's not 2500. I got hit for 3400 with at least 30%MDT. Possibly it's power raises when you strike Itz while it's casting/usingJA because I got hit for 3k+ only while 3boxing and when I wasn't turning away. when I was tanking on NIN with much less MDT it never exceeded 2200 and I was turning away on every JA and casting ( had much worse WHM and equip that time ). Maybe its's HP too because all 3k+ was always on last % ( I was usually using bind and finishing with 2 nukes on BLM then ) so idk.

I am 99% sure it has nothing to do with spikes damage. Me, a kannagi non and a thf were all attacking nonstop to kill it, and didn't notice any damage higher than 2.2k although we had carol 2 and barspell.

I thought all of Itz's moves (self buff/attacks) were effected by current debuffs cast on it?

Either way, the only dangerous part of Itz is not having a dispel.
