Unless I'm missing something, no one there mentioned that it tastes like hot dogs... and I second that opinion. Haggis and hot dogs are completely different in taste and texture (with haggis being the more delicious option by a mile), there's simply no comparison. The only mention of hot dogs on that forum was:

... which is essentially what I was saying to begin with.

I eat a healthy diet, and I stick with quality foods. I don't eat hot dogs unless I am at some kind of cook out and old people in my family are harassing me to eat something, I merely said I would prefer that to having blood, piss, or organs in my food. Very astute of you to evaluate that and decide I must be "common" though. To begin with I was only responding to someone who was making a big deal out of cheese in a can, like the way cheese is made isn't gross enough on its own and needs to be put in a can and shot out by gas pressure to be made nasty.

P.S. I love cheese, and I think that is the one thing we can all agree on when it comes to food regardless of nationality!

Personally I could not eat a full English on a Sunday and not have Black Pudding with it, since this thread took this turn I have explained to my American friends what Black Pudding is and they were all repulsed pretty much, but imo it tastes nice, so I suggest trying it before you say it's disgusting. If you don't like it, fair enough, but that shit is yum fucking yum.
