So this stage of WoE weapons is slightly retarded and basically it´s easier to get a 85 Empy than a 95 woe weapon imo.

In my opinion WoE weapons have always been harder to upgrade versus Emps. The randomness of the drops of coins and fighting others for singles when doing flux2 or having someone randomly show up when you solo a flux really made it difficult to get the 30 coins necessary. Add to the fact that coin of Ruin loves to drop more than anything in WoE including pouch form from personal chests made Emps the easier choice for me.

I sat on my mantis for a whole month trying to get Coin of Adv, but after a month of doing WoE 4 times a day, and seeing how everyone was going after the same coin I said F it and just let my mantis collect dust and I went after coins that no one wanted and six months later I finished the WoE Sword.

I eventually got into a Empy LS and had to wait in line for my turn, and I turned my Mantis into Vere and that took far less time to do than all the hours and days I wasted in WoE. Shit is backwards and unless coins drop like candy from the new Fluxes, SE failed miserably.

I have both the revenant fists and the vere and They were about the same exact timeframe.
I had alot of losing lots on coin of adv and Those coins seem the rarest out of all the coins as well. We seen so many decay and glory coins and the staff trail coin forget name. But at the same time, when they finally dropped, I got 2 pouches that gave me like 24 coins. Had 7 singles so I had 31 coins. Took about 2 weeks cause of drops and having to find people which only showed up during JP time only. conflux 2 btw.

Chloris is also a pain in the ass though but after TE spamming and triple boxing thanks to a friend boteau. (NIN, WAR, WHM) and my MNK, then he switched to TH7 THF for chloris. Much more time consuming BUT finished chloris in 4 days and Sandworm (forgot his name lol, this was months ago) finished him in 2 days.

Short story, Empyrean took 6 days, WOE weapon took about 2 weeks.
However the time in HOURS, Empyrean took over 100 hours over 6 days and WOE took about 50 hours over 2 weeks (not gameday change time to re-enter the flux).

Plus really when doing emypreans you should include the time of the people who helped. Idk I got 2 WoE weapons worth in 1 week of soloing a few times a day. Sometimes getting lucky and having enough random people in zone to win. Actually getting a top 5 chest helps alot

Dual boxed the majority of Chloris. For Ulhua, I dual boxed all the KIs, and shouted for ppl who wanted af3+2 so I don't rly consider them helping me, they were there for themselves (lol 50 fangs and didn't get 1 thing towards any of my af3+2 @.@).

WoE was really nice if you whored #5 with 5 people. Personal chest for everyone and 2-3 sometimes even 4 pouches in final chest you coul give to ppl who needed them. Boosted my groups WoE weapons count up this way really fast.

I don't really see how you could've dual boxed empyrean faster than WoE then... unless you hardly killed anything in WoE or constantly competed against full allainces while sucking to much to top 5. I mean that's basically like saying it took what on average 4-5 hours per coin?

Agreed, coins are easy to get, esp if you dual box a WHM and mow through enemys. I'm not advocating doing a WoE over an Emp, unless its a secondary job but once you get the 30 coins you have an instant upgrade to 90. They are much much faster and easier if you put the same effort towards them.

WOE is way easier. WOE used 18 people for us at the time but it balanced out cause noone wanted the adv coin (but it was the rarest drop rate too) and people helped cause they got drops for themselves.

Chloris and ulhuashi used 4 ppl max for me but it didnt benefit them which made me feel bad. I gave him af3+2 stones and all 4 of us upgraded them by the time I got the 50 fangs. I felt bad for him wasting 100 hours that I gave my good friend 30mil.

Depending on who you know and how much time your friends want to waste on you, Empyrean can be wayyyy harder to obtain then a WOE weapon for the casual gamer.

I'd make shout groups for WoE, JP was 29/30 on one of my runs, not part of it, came to leech and lot. They got mad I wouldn't let them get solo lot (someone in my group wanted one of their coins). They brought their JP friends and camped me every time i entered, about 4-6 of them always lotting advancement

So more like just bad luck and pissing off the right people. Happens with empyreans too. I remember one time trying to get bugard KI for sobek and no one was there. Kill first bugard go back to spawn point and litterally over 20 people were now camping the ??? in the couple of minutes it took me to kill and no one was willing to take turns or anything so my help ended up timing out before we even got to the 2nd pop...

I've watched LSs just camp the ??? while others farmed pops so they could almost non stop pop for there full allaince and would get pissed if you managed to get 1 pop in like they owned the nm for the next several hours. And I say that long because most of the time they'd have really weird ghetto setups at the nm to keep the kill speed on the pop item monsters (and maybe other nms) up so would take forever to kill. That and they'd often have to wait for proccers to come over...

Or people taking mobs as soon as they go yellow just from kiting/pulling...

As far as WoE goes I've never not gotten top 5 and I'd say average of like .75-1 pouches in that. So I actually much preferred having more people there so could actually win vs too small of a group but being able to lot dropped coins.

If I got that right, He was 29/30 and needed 1 coin? why didnt you give it to him? Now that i remember about it, You started weeks before me on WOE weapon and I finished before you. I remember you ranting about them lotting your coins a few months back. Sucks they did that to you but I had 2 ppl that were 29/30 and I gave them their 2 coins so they can be on their way.

Someone had glory coin (the Great axe coin I think is glory?) 29/30 and someone didnt let that guy lot the glory coin that dropped. There was only TWO people on glory coin. He didnt let that guy lot his single coin so karma bit him when the coffer opened it had a glory pouch. The guy who was 29/30 lotted on the glory pouch and won like 9 glory coins while the other guy who didnt pass the single, was feeling stupid. Im just saying...
