Its 18 a tic with ghorn and Daurdabla which is way more then your standard mage gets in abyssea.

That started the whole comparison of ghorn giving more refresh outside than you can get from atmas inside

Gjallar+Harp is far from useless right now. While you may not notice the difference much having a 16-18 people ally with more than a single BLM and 3 or more healers, you do notice it once you do a fight with less and can't hit every proc within seconds. It does make a huge difference and speeds the fight up by a fair bit.

First part of this post disagreed with Alvein about typical whm/rdm using 2 refresh atmas.

Second part of this post is about Gjallahorn+Harp being not useless and referring to VW situation.

So maybe I can't read english right but I still dont see anything about BRD or RDM in abyssea. Even more I don't see RDM mentioned at all beside being sub for WHM.

What in the... it looked pretty linear if you ask me, what the hell are you going on a tangent for? Bar ambition for FC/Movespeed if you don't have herald's you generally don't need 2 refresh atmas inside on Whm, and you don't need /rdm either, so daurdabla Ghorn brd would be more refresh than you would usually get inside, unless you use ambition's.

I explained you that Coolbeans argument was about gjallahorn+harp ballads giving more refresh than you have in abyssea. Alvein counter that with statement that typical WHM/rdm in abyssea run 19/tic. Kalasin then said that typical mage in abyssea doesn't use 2 refresh atmas and by that he meant Ballads from gjallahorn+harp indeed gives more refresh outside than typical mage have inside. Further he explained that this refresh is more useful for VW when you have limited resources and/or no luck with staggers.

NONE said anything about having BRD in abyssea but only a comparison between Ghorn+harp ballads vs atmas in abyssea.
NONE said anything about RDM beside Alvain mentioning it as sub for WHM.

The reason why I didn't use the best bullets is because not everyone has it...I know a couple of CORs used to have one but not anymore, and it also kinda require some VW grinding that's not that accessible to everyone and requires a bit of luck.

Also, dark shot needs to land first to enhance leaden salute dmg, so if the mob has no dispel-able effect on, you will get "your dark shot has no effect" msg and it won't enhance leaden salute dmg. That favors WF even more because you can pretty much always land fire shot unless you're weakened, but you don't always fight mobs with dispel-effect on(and even if they do someone else in pt may dispel it before you). I believe it's better to just use elemental shots for dmg if you're a DP user.

And yes I know someone's making a lv 95 armaddeon...kinda...............I'm holding all my plate drop from VW for lv 95 myself , although I don't really buy plates or rush for lv 95 since I'm also making DP atm and all the money goes to crazy expensive alexandrites. Would rather spend money on DP instead of AGI+2 Armageddon tbh.

Kinda unfair to not use best bullets because not everyone has them then use lvl 95 armageddon which as far as I know nobody has because you know 1 person working on it... using lower dmg bullets wont change the dmg difference though (the mab would if we went full calculation though). In fact it will actually make the percent dmg difference greater since amount difference stays the same but total dmg went down. Speaking of which considering that bullet helps QD so much but wont be used on ws should've probably of factored in MAB too to get a better comparison of QDs vs wss

I dont really have nothing personal to you and dont want to join any bandwagon I would correct anyone that would post something like you. In fact I wrote something not reading the whole post in other thread and someone pointed that out to me. Instead of being aggressive and touched I said I actually didnt read the whole post and I feel corrected. It's not really that hard to admit to mistake.

Mine sharing how you did it? Spam VW t3s? Buy? Mixture of both? How much did you spend roughly in total?

I'm at 15/1500, I don't have a lot of gil, currently trying to get as many pick ups pty for fight and see where I can go from here. So any tips would be great!
