    100% (3.056)

Kurodachi w/o DA (no DA by the way is a decent assumption, Abyssal/Hollow and Rose Strap while /DRG though Brutal might be > Hollow, too lazy to redo it and started w/o DA) need 3.056 rounds to 100 TP on average. Factoring in hitrate (95% but also factoring in Zanshin) this is 3.05ish rounds, or 1413 delay. How much does Hagun need? Without any DA besides Brutal it's 2203ish delay average, meaning Kurodachi weaponskills 56% more often than a Hagun. Hagun's weaponskills are a bit over 20% stronger, has more haste gear due to not 5-hitting, and does more damage per hit obviously.
the comparison was 5 hit kurodachi vs 6 hit kurodachi. Rememeber than for 6 hit sword strap is much better than pole grip too ( makes it a 450 delay GK).

Ive got ~3.0 rounds for kurodachi 5 hit and 3.7 for 6 hit. thats 23% WS boost, so like 14% global boost. 6 hit has 5% more haste ( ~12% boost) and -3% delay ( another 3% boost)

I'd offhand Perdu since Senj only gets that Crit bonus on itself. I think Mozu/Isato would be the best combination for Ninja now.

Currently 3/6 for the fish on Mozu. If I finish it before someone else I'll go ahead and try to get some results for people.

Can someone do the maths for Magnatus DMG46 and Death Penalty compared to Cor gun+1?
I know it is cor gun+1 < Magnatus < DP. Looking more at how much dmg% improvement on each gun compared to cor gun+1.

Lol. My Corsair's gun has DMG: +2 Augment. Magnatus seems just a minor upgrade, although if there are upgrades in the future, i might consider it.

How does the polearm stack up vs Vfork? Also, for the Kuro, could anyone explain how I get one. For daggers, the wiki page is nicely laid out, but I'm left rather confused for the great katana section. The only one I could find out is the final stage, which requires 10 crab shells (Which I already won 2 free lot on first day of VNM when ppl didn't know what that shit was for )

I'm curious to test out the OAT on it.

400 plants and 300 ladybugs killed me. I got about a 30k buffer doing all of that. XD

    6hit soboro
    2hit possibilities: 1/3(27/81)
    Triple x2 = 1/3 ^ 1/3 = 1/9 = .1111
    Triple + Double = 1/9 = .1111
    Double + Triple = 1/9 = .1111

    3hit possibilities: 14/27(42/81)
    double + double + anything = 1/9 = .1111
    triple + single + anything = 1/9 = .1111
    single + triple + anything = 1/9 = .1111
    double + single + double/triple = 2/27 = .0740
    single + double + double/triple = 2/27 = .0740
    single + single + triple = 1/27 = .0370

    4hit possibilities: 11/81
    double + single + single + anything = 1/27 = .0370
    single + double + single + anything = 1/27 = .0370
    single + single + double + anything = 1/27 = .0370
    single + single + single + double/triple = 2/81 = .0247

    5hit possibilities: 1/81
    single + single + single + single + anything = 1/81 = .0123

    2 * .3333 = .666
    3 * .5185 = 1.5555
    4 * .1358 = .5432
    5 * .0123 = .0615
    Average Rounds: 2.8262

    2.8262 rounds for 6hit soboro, 450 delay
3.7 rounds for 6hit kuro going by mdkuser's math, 450 delay
@140 STR(easy enough to change, i'm not on xi nor do i know normal STR+ numbers atm so just taking a wild guess)
15 fstr cap on kuro, 12 on soboro, both would cap on lolibri but not on gekko things really, for the sake of argument though

kuro becomes D:83 and soboro becomes d:52
    140 * .75 = 105 WSC + 83 = 188 for kuro and 157 for soboro

    19.74% ws damage for kurodachi
    30.92% ws frequency for soboro
= 9.34% ws damage for soboro

assuming 4 fstr during tp phase, soboro becomes D:44 and kuro becomes d:72.. 72 * 1.4 = 100.8*pdif per attack round on kuro, 44 * 2 = 88*pdif per attack round on soboro

    100.8 / 88 = 14.5% tp damage for kurodachi

with a 70/30 ws/tp split( i don't feel this is the right way to calculate damage, since gekko situations vary pretty heavily for ws/tp split and even changing GKs will change split), that'd put soboro about 6% ahead overall while 60/40 would put kurodachi 0.42% ahead

now, looking at it my way

    1.5625 FTP
    188 157
    2.3 avg pdif on gekko

    2.3 * 1.5625 * 188 = 676 damage gekko from kuro
    2.3 * 1.5625 * 157 = 564 damage gekko from soboro

    1.2 avg pdif during tp
120 damage per attack round from kuro
105.6 damage per attack round from soboro

    3 minute analysis(meditate relevant)

    march x2, hasso, haste, 20% gear, both 450 delay: .35 * 450 = 157.5 / 60 = 2.625 seconds per attack round
    180 / 2.625 = 69 attack rounds
    69 * 120 = 8280 damage from tp from kurodachi
    69 * 105.6 = 7286.4 damage from tp from soboro

    69 / 3.7 = 18.56 ws + 1.5 from meditate = 20 * 676 = 13520 ws damage from kurodachi
    69 / 2.8262 = 24.41 ws + 1.5 from meditate = 26 * 564 = 14664 ws damage from soboro

In 3 minutes, soboro should deal 21,950 damage with a 33.2:66.8 TP:WS split.
In the same 3 minutes, kurodachi should deal 21,800 damage with a 38.0:62.0 TP:WS split.

If you change the STR and pdif around, kurodachi can pull ahead. Realistically, though, they're almost identical in overall damage output.

You have to use the 30/50/20 distribution or you're going to get very skewed results.

Apparently I fail at typing this morning. Removed until I get the right answer.

Edit: forgot 2-2-2 as a case for 3-round Soboro

Effing Bind is 7/10 krab shells now, I suspect he will be 10/10 by the time I get home from work.

Has anyone actually posted parse results for an OAT 2H weapon yet to see that it does, in fact, have a 40% proc rate?

The only testing results I've seen so far were Radec's from the dagger. Darkmagi never came back to post his results on the GKT that I can find.

Apologizing in advance if I somehow missed it!

Correct me if I'm wrong about this but there's only one entry for "Occasionally attacks twice" in the Augment .DATs, isn't there? That could/would mean every weapon is 40%, doesn't it?

    For a 6-hit soboro, it's:
    2 rounds: - 16%
    3x3: 4%
    2x3: 12%

    3 Rounds: - 55.3% (71.3-16% from above)
    1 1 3: 5.4%
    1 2 2: 22.5%
    1 2 3: 18%
    1 3 3: 3.6%
    2 2 3: 15%
    2 3 3: 6%
    3 3 3: .8%

    4 Rounds: - (100 -71.3 -.81) 27.89%

    5 rounds: - .81%
    .09*.09 = .81%

    3.1351 rounds to 100 TP with a Soboro 6-hit
Do you have any supporting data that has 33-33-33 more than one standard deviation away from it? DA skews 2hit, and my personal experience with the weapon(and mercurial kris) lead me to believe they're equal distribution.

The proc rate on the h2h don't matter. Anything short of 100% and they suck

Back in the testing spasm the boards were under a few months back, multi-hits were parsed by Mont and Masa and Soboro was found to have a 30/50/20 distribution without DA. I'm not sure of the exact page (or even thread) but it's probably on somewhere on page 4-5 of Advanced.

As long as Kparse multi hit round is functioning correctly, I wouldn't mind putting in 1000 attack rounds on it.
