If anyone had tested it it would have. But if anyone did test it, I haven't seen the data.

As far as I know, there's no solid block rate/block dmg- testing on Ochain 95~ or Aegis 99. There is on 90 ochain, and 75~95 Aegis, But that's because I tested them.

For 99 ochain, block rate tests, you'd need to find something reaaaally high lvl to uncap your block rate by a decent amount. then test with both lvl 90, and 99 Ochain. Also, if you use multiple mobs, you need to make certain they're all the same lvl.

You could possibly do block dmg- test on the same mobs, assuming they hit decently hard. Low per-hit dmg mobs get you weird results on block dmg- tests. <,<

for either kind of test, I usually agro the mobs, then set up auto cure loops in spellcast for me and my whm alt. Start parsing, then afk till I get 3k'ish hits. Repeat for any other test I can do on the same mobs. (also, dmg absorb, like from the creed set, is a pain in the ass for these tests, avoid wearing more than one pice of creed)

Once data is gathered, I copy it out of the defense details tab in kparser, and paste it into my Shield testing spreadsheet.

Maybe I should just get setup on the test server already and test this stuff myself. <,<

I finally got off my ass and got setup on the test server. Which turned out to be a pretty big pain in the ass.

I have 99 Aegis parse data already. But I may wait till I have Ochain stuffs as well before I analyze and post it.

Ochain block dmg- will be simple to test. Block rate may take a bit longer. I'll need to find a decent target mob with a lvl high enough to uncap my block rate, but that isn't timed, and wont destroy me. And I'll need to do a lvl 90 AND a lvl 99 test on said target, since i won't have prior data like I do for aegis.

Well, you're in luck. I just posted 99 Aegis/Ochain testing, there's no notable difference on aegis. No block dmg- changes on ochain, but I haven't tested Ochain block rate yet.
