Regarding Trial 116 (crawlers in dark/ice/water/earth weather), it never dawned on me that the Worker Crawlers in Rolanberry Fields (S) (eight or so right outside Crawlers' Nest) were still barely Easy Prey to 75. Easiest trial I've done so far because of these.

Depending on what your definition of lowman is. Beat doom with 5 (NIN/DRK, RDM/DRK, BLU/NIN, BRD, WHM) before. If your members are well geared, I can imagine PLD/NIN, BLU/NIN, WHM, RNG will be able to win consistently, if u don't mind a slow kill, just shadowbind NM during 2hr.
Watch out for Whip tongue on darksday >.<;
What do you need PLDs for? Use RDMs and bounce it with nukes. Much faster kills too.
Did some testing of Teiwaz, Earth Affinity Magic Accuracy +3 and Magic Dmg+1.

1 - 1/4 resist
This was with 291+5 macc on Qiqirn in the ruins as previously suggested.
I'll do some more tests tomorrow hopefully.
Tahrongi canyon is pretty good about earth weather, and there's quite a few crawlers there. Seriously the way to do those is sync to the late teens and fight real lowbie stuff, fights take 5-6 melee hits and weapon skills take 70% of a mob's health at that level. Better to be double the mob's level and still get xp for the kill than be 75 vs a 62 or w/e.
Buburimu also has low level crawlers and not terribly infrequent water weather.
About to hit for the 100 Beasts portion of my trial under Dark weather. My first inclination was Xarc/Beau (edit: beasts, yeah not beastmen lol) in the past but then I realized the mobs would be fairly difficult and the issue with Ice weather too...
Any suggestions?
My only thought is Karakul in Caedarva Mire... (or anywhere you please on darksday, like Bunnies in Cape Terrigan)
Augh, the mire is usually water and occasionally thunder. Didn't see much dark during the time I was there for the 100 slimes. Didn't realize that Cape Terrigan had Dark though, guessing it is also uncommon?
Edit: Realized I have to fight any 100 in dark weather before the Beast one but doing the same place twice would work too

Can someone clear something up for me? I'm trying to find out the exact requirements to get credit for the final upgrade for the DA chain of weapons. Everyone is telling me that you have to trade the moogle the item, but I already have an Eye for dagger I obtained previously and the moogle is not taking it.
I was under the assumption that you had to get the upgrade item with the weapon actually equipped at the time to get credit. I figured this was an asinine way for SE to prevent people from working on the upgrade early.
However everywhere I read for all the upgrades says 'TRADE'. Is there really any use for my eye or are different weapons upgraded in different ways?

Has anyone been through this trial before? Wondering what zones you found to be the best for consistent weather? Or did you just warp around depending on forecast.
