when i did my teiwaz banish III always helped a lot ( assuming you are doing cure pot +15 staff and need the light +50 dmg right?
And if u dont have whm 75 hmmm... gonna think in that lol

RDM can do decent banish damage (with a nuke set) assuming they have their skill capped.
Go native divine skill but no 'main' spells!
Try Bibiki Bay Goblin's Rabbit on RDM/WHM. You need some half-way decent divine skill or you'll get resisted below 50 damage a lot though. I just sucked it up and went to beseiged to skill up a few times and was good to go around ~150 skill. Takes a few hours to get 150 kill there.
Any testing to see how much the "weakens defense" stuff lowers def?
Not yet but soon, if i had to guess 12.5% like most all other DEF downs (san-Angon)
I believe others have stated -10%. But I don't know how in depth they went into testing. Was someone with the scyth if that helps.
I haven't seenon the thread or wiki so let me ask here. Can the OAT weapons process on weapon skills or JAs, like Barrage?
My apologies if it has been asked and answered
edit: also what is the approximate proc rate on th Occ Atks Twice
I don't think it worked on Barrage or any of the other things you mentioned. Anyone feel free to correct me if needed.
procs on jumps but not on ws.
I'm not overly wise in such things, but I do have the def down scythe, so I can work to test its exact value.
Okay, I believe I've confirmed the defense down effect, on the scythe, at least, to be at or very near 10%. Cliff's notes are:
-- Steelshell in Boyahda Tree checked as "low evasion" at 422 attack and "low evasion and defense" at 423 attack, putting the mob's defense at exactly 370 (feel free to check this and all other calculations).
-- If the def down effect was indeed 10%, that would reduce the defense to 370-37=333
-- A defense 333 mob should check as "low defense" when attack=418, and should not give a defense message when attack=417.
-- Swapped gear to bring attack to exactly 417, with an easy means to swap to 418.
-- Engaged mob @ 417 attack and waited for a def down proc.
-- @417 attack, mob checked as "low evasion", swapped gear (a cassie earring as it turned out), @418 attack mob checked at "low evasion and defense", confirming the target defense as 333.
It's probably something like 25/256 or 26/256 but very definitely in that ballpark.
Does not proc on Barrage, I have 100% confirmed this.
Spoiler: show
So still no testing on the Teiwaz w/ Macc/Mab? I see a few theories, and math based on guesses, but nothing concrete. I really don't want to waste time making one if it sucks haha. Kinda curious if making a Lightning Macc staff would be worth it to counter aquilo's on resist builds for blm
There was an experimental setup suggested earlier, but the concept of magic accuracy "score" was not made clear. Without boring with details, what pchan meant was that given 65 INT, you should have 290+5 additional magic accuracy (from combat skill and equipment only; no one merits earth magic accuracy) to have around 55% landing rate (no resist) with Stone I on the Poulterer with the correct level. Then with a HQ staff you should have 85% landing rate, and with Teiwaz a 95% landing rate is expected.
After checking the Qiqirn Poulterers, it appears it's the level 78 Poulterers (200 base EXP, 210 EXP with 5% sanction bonus b/c of shitty server) that should be targeted because the lower-level ones have lower than 65 INT (62 INT; 160 base EXP for level 77 and 130 base EXP for level 76). Someone did gather data on the earth Teiwaz, but now I'm not sure the correct-level Qiqirn was targeted.
With 263 melee accuracy (including combat skill, DEX, etc.), the lv 78 Qiqirn should still check "high evasion" while the others won't.
Later I will give some data with a HQ earth staff to validate the conditions set forth in the first paragraph.
Conditions: Terra's Staff, 292 elemental magic skill, 5 magic accuracy, 63 INT (to offset extra skill)
No resist: 57
Half: 12
Quarter: 2
Total: 71
Obviously not at capped landing rate (57/71). Need confirmation that previous data on earth Teiwaz was obtained for a level 78 Qiqirn and appropriate conditions.
I think the poulterer are 76 and 77 only? that's what i found when I went check the ratio cap before level correction theory ( at least those near the silversea remnant warp).
230 EXP implies 15% sanction bonus implies 200 base EXP implies level 78 Qiqirn Poulterer. In any case, one can identify the correct level Poulterer for testing using the check function. Example: 230 combat skill, 62 DEX, and 5 accuracy from equipment (263 accuracy total) still gives the "high evasion" message for the level 78 poulterer.

Just wondering how good the OAT bow is (DMG+23 Delay+88 OAT, Total is 62 DMG 600 Delay OAT)
sorry if its been said, but ive been collecting krab shells, wondering if its worth doing
oat bow is worth it imo. tp gain is super fast and ws frequency is crazy... that is if you don't pull hate and die from it all.
i like it, but not sure if anyone else has completed it.
3/10 on bow, need to give that fence soloing a try.
Finally...
Before anyone asks why I made this one instead of Garuda staff, the possible new BPs in the future may make Garuda not as great. Fenrir will remain cheap and the best meleer in general. Should work on Cure staff in the near future as the next one.
