One has slightly more MAB in return for slightly less MACC, one has the reverse, so yes, technically they can be better than elemental staves depending on whether or not you have excess MACC.

Where did you/are you guys working on ladybugs? I'm trying to decide if I just wanna find a friend with a 62ish job to sync down to for East Ronfaure, or just suck it up and do Biddybugs in like, the NE corner of Jugner_S. I know they're all along the section of the river just south of the lake but then so are a bunch of other things I'd rather avoid.

The damage drop between Stage 5 and Stage 6 really sucks...

Around like, (J-5)~(J-6) or something, there's a group of Biddybugs that spawn pretty close together.

A starting point is this house lookin' thing in the wall of the mountain or something (around where the "New-turned Earth" is), then kinda running down, then running back up for the respawns.

I did this with my sister's WHM and all. Never again ladybugs!

I killed Biddybugs. SAM/DNC, it really wasn't that bad at all.

since alot, if not all of these weapons share the same name, would it be possible, thru the use of Spellcast, to change to Elemental Correct Staff? since u cant just use the name, it wont know which one to Equip, seems like a waste doin multiple, if u cant change it with a macro

Avatar Perp-4 would be nice to have for a few Avatars, but without being able to macro the correct staff, its pointless to have more than 1, and do it manually

can spellcast equip gear based on ID#'s? if these even have diffrent #s

It cant. personally i'd simply see what comes out next update since if magians has some new weapons that they upgrade to then you can simply keep them at different "name" stages.

Agreed. It could also be the case that SE wants to limit the strength of these items by limiting the macro access to them. It could also be the case that it won't matter because you trade them all in for a Prism Staff. There are too many potentialities.

As an on-topic aside, who has still been working on these since they announced that some trials will see reduced objectives? Since then I've been sat on my hands with these waiting for changes, and so has everyone else I know.

I personally stopped dead in my tracks, lol. Had already done the OAT GK, and was about to begin OAT Scythe+Polearm, but then was like, nooo!

10 bucks says it's just to reduce the requirements for relics

Man do i hope so, Relic stage 2 is just terrible.

With the new DRG update, the OAT polearm is going to be a beast.
