Yes, it can. Confirmed that yesterday myself.

We used height difference to kill 2/6 that we've killed so far. Ironically it didn't make the fight any easier, we felt safer so we put some sams on it, just made it reset hate more with Claws and then Bubble Shower all over the mages, lol. But yes, height differences have prevented both Krabs TPs and Orcus's TPs so far that we've personally tested. Made Orcus SOOOO much easier fighting it on the DI cliff.

I was under the assumption that buying a new one discarded the old one.

I can test next time I have a Tier II and see what the text says.

Can't post pictures b/c I'm at work but I have a tier 3 pop (yellow abyssite) and I went to buy a clear abyssite. The npc gave me some dialogue about getting rid of unwanted abyssites if I asked and sold me a new clear abyssite. The yellow abyssite stayed in my key items and the clear abyssite was there as well. I have turned that abyssite into a colored abyssite now. Dunno what would happen if you had tier 1 and 2 at the same time though.

Whats the minimum amount of people you need to be able to take Yacumama out without trouble? Could RDM PLD DD take it out without exceptional gear or meds?

If the DD is a ranger, probably. HF is HP based, so if you take it slow, Shadowbind the HF, then wait for shadowbind to come back up to resume damage, I assume it'd work. Add a 4th as a bard for elegy/etc and for sure.

Don't know if that been posted yet, we got VIT ring on Orcus and STR +8 belt. Pretty easy fight with SAM/THF, PLD/NIN, PLD/WAR and BLM

Were the T3s movable so if there was a cliff not in the pop area and you wanted to move it, it won't despawn?

did 2 tier 3, Crab and Antilion, moved them for like 200+ from their pop zone to a cliff

Yeah you can move them about as long as whoever is dragging it along doesn't get too far away, otherwise it will depsawn.

So now that we know the VIT ring is from orcus, there's only the DEX ring left to find? All of the T3s have one now so I'm guessing it must be from Yilbegan and can drop with or instead of the INT ring.

I'm guessing Yilbegan drops both INT rings and the DEX ring. The other INT ring hasn't dropped yet from the others, right?

Has anyone tried nin/drk on the crab and if it builds stun resist?

It does resist stun. I don't know after how many but it does. It resisted my shield bash stun every time i tried it after the first.

If you have a tier 2 key item and a tier 3 key item on you, the message you get will say you're tracking with your tier 3 abyssite, however it will track both tier 2 and tier 3 monsters. If you're in the right area for the tier 3 pop that will pop while having both key items. Not sure if the tier 2 would pop as well, we stopped tracking it when we realized that.

The Yilbegan dragon's "flail" move is it a true conal or aoe or w/e cause trying to see if you can position tanks to not both get hit by it when butt tanking it. That and when it wasn't absorbed by shadows, kinda curious what people were getting hit for cause I had one top out at 862 dmg on me when it did an enfeeblga right before and cleared shadows. This was also when it had its aura up.

A strategy I had in mind for that one (not tested yet) was to have 4x RDM/NIN and 2x SAM with Soboros. 4x RDM/NIN would stand in a bukake circle jerk and rotationally nuke. During 2 hour, the Soboro SAM's would come in and rotationally keep it Hobaku/stun locked and rinse repeat. (Hobaku spam mentioned from a previous post)

You can probably substitute a RDM with a COR, BRD or SMN for extra MP + damage.

yes that works fine. Recoil Dive wipes all shadows so need to make sure they are up. Bio III works well, seems highly resistant/immune to poison. But elemental magic bouncing hate is ok for this guy
