yeah you can see the name walking around on the map . soo if you dont wanna fight this nm . go to the past or walk around and scan for another.

Just did the krabkatoa, got title but no ring. Took ~1hr with 7men. I suppose you toss in nukes, thorny? What is the average damage on it? ~250? And how did you handle mega scissor, is there time to avoid it by moving back since i notice it takes like ~2sec to execute.

i already said my average damage in my first post outlining, just take mega scissor, doesn't one shot and i don't generate much hate so it's not hard to balance back out trio

Just duoed Yacumama as RDM/NIN x2. Hadn't seen anyone doing that yet.

Keep hate about the same, bounce it with nukes. When it HF's, run opposite directions. Since hate is about the same on both RDMs, it will turn after hitting you a few times, and you'll be far enough away from eachother for it to not hit you more than 3~10 times each per Hundred Fists. Gather again of course, once it's wore.

It was really pretty easy, but one of us had to Chainspell <20% due to HF starting again so fast.

Hope it's not unorthodox, but some bitty advice for low manning these fights or in general,

As a caveat, he can recoil dive for quite a significant amount of damage. He hit my NIN for 1200 through a shadow, one-shotting me with the gear I had on.

After you've ensured that you have what it takes to have the ability to kill something (ie enough mp, enough evasion, enough dps, etc), in my book the next most impt thing is to have enough HP to prevent one-shots or even near one-shots (cuz that 2-shot can come quick). Even if it's a rare chance, fights can be long, things can go wrong, and you want consistency/reliability. Seems to be a common prob for evasion tanks like nin/dnc/thf. BQ ring, gigant mantle, and ~cassie earring are some quickish fixes. Carbonara is expensive, but really good. There's a huge comfort buffer between 1200 and 1500 HP, depending on the fight.

Duo'd Capricornus with BRD/NIN and NIN/DNC; very easy fight.
- BRD 2x Mambo and Elegy
- NIN/DNC full eva set. (~75% evasion rate) + Hojo, Kura

We duod it as pld/nin rdm/whm. Took forever though because atonement never broke 250dmg because of rapid hate decay. Tried mnk/nin rdm/whm first but rdm died to fast because once it two hrs hate was reset and couldnt get hate fast enough.

I think generally you want your support to be Rdm/Nin as often as possible, with anything low man in this game. If there isn't a (dire) need for /whm -na spells (Urd's mute and Jyestha's break aren't even trouble as you can just keep evading), or /blm elemental seal, then those options are no good. As a general rule, if it's something a Rdm/Nin can solo, it's probably gonna be good for your rdm to be /nin if you're doing it duo/trio. The difference in survivability is like night and day.

Planning to try this duo sometime soon. If it's like Charby or other octopus NM's like the aptant one in qufim, duo should be easy aside from the hundred fists. For that, I just plan on fleeing every 20%. If it's like any other NM, this should counter it with no trouble. I'll probably end up full-timing powder boots instead (people carry these in their satchels, right?) so that flee recast isn't an issue.

Uh, I don't know you and as far as I know, near 80% of people on BG love fucking with people so I'm making sure I'm getting my information correct. I'd rather not put myself in a position where I tell someone information about this and I end up being wrong. Not everything is correct just because someone on BG said it's true.

What's the t1 ghost like for the vampire path? Someone before posted that it had a nasty habit of sleepga -> powerful spells, is there an easy way to solo it?

Well, it's not a huge request that I asked. I'd rather hear it from multiple sources than just 1 or 2 people. I didn't say I didn't believe the guy. Thorny may have a point that it could be like Limbus cards. I just haven't seen a picture or anyone even say they still got the item after death. If I was that gullible, I would have believed it when some fan boy said Clay Aiken was straight. I mean, he has a test tube baby with a woman, so it must be true. Amirite?
