Krabkatoa is really quite easy. No real reason to worry about him.
Anybody planning on duoing Yacumama with NIN + BRD - It's quite evasive and counters a lot, but you can melee it down slowly (really all out evasion + ninjutsu wheel spam with staves might work better.) Either way, bring a super evasion set. I had decent evasion (full usukane, evasion torque, boxer's mantle, scouter's rope, ethereal/elusive, ungur, 2 merits, and /THF) and it still raped me during Hundred Fists. Even with flee it just cought up and fucked me.
blm and rdm/ninx2 can do yacumama easy. just have rdms on 2 different sides of a river and just bounce it.
You can duo this too with relatively ease like with Toad from vamp's path. 2 rdm/nin using wall/mountain in East ronf or lake in Jugner. 10mins top. You could do the same for jugner [s] but due to the aggros there, not recommended.
I'm totally new to HNMs. I mean I've done sky & dyna and even a round of Einherjar, but when I heard that Krab hides his HP like DI and has that AoE 40/tic I started to think to myself "I'm fucked, never gonna have that OAT GKT."
So, I should be ok then, if I find a good group and/or wait until June?
Krab is really easy I imagine a simple pickup group could do it easily.
Erebus defeats Erebus and no change.Thought I figured out an easy way. iSad.
Maybe I've been unlucky, but it seems like Erebus is unable to cast spells during Blood Weapon?
It doesn't cast spell during 2hr and it gets increase attack speed too. Would be a waste on its 2hr if it casts spell lol
Hmm, anyone has any more info regarding Yilbegan? Such as how much damage is the bio aura? I suppose it is bio3? How much does the meteor deal on average? Does everyone has to eat it?
On wiki, it says Soul Douse is a breath attack with doom while chaos blast is an AoE with status down + knockback. So by standing behind it, i assumed you are able to avoid these 2 attacks? Or are people mistaking chaos blast for the breath attack?
Currently have 3 T4 triggers, anyone that has attempted and win, what are the chances for 8-9ppl?
I just spend the last hours and hours killing Tier 1 Bee and Beetle in West Saurataruba with 3 friends and none of our Abyssite is still not upgraded from Clear abyssite?!?
Is this normal?!? We must have killed like 30+ Tier I NMs now we've gotten merit points and more... WTF!?!?!?
We done with this Sh¤¤ for now
My question for people soloing skeleton -
For Blood Weapon, do you use flee boots or do you proc Slow II and just tank through it?
Slow II makes it easy enough.
I don't have exact info on the bio but it wasn't anything to be focused on really. Meteor damage is pretty much like KB. It didn't use Meteor on us at all til after 50% but it proceeded to spam it on us. Not everyone HAS to eat it but I'd suggest eating it anyways. If you try to outrun it you could have Yilbegan depop.
It has unique TP moves depending on where the person with hate is standing. If you are in front of it, it uses the knockback. It is possible to tank it from front back and side though. Each just has its own set of moves that you have to deal with. We took it down tanking on the tail.
Edit: I'm still waiting on feedback about the different levels of difficulty on Yilbegan theory. We have only fought it in Xarc and I simply don't see it being too likely for a group of 8-9 the way it was for us. We had 20 people or so and the best I'd say we could cut it down to would be maybe 12 but that would require near flawless execution.
Did they ninja nerf the t2 upgrade rate? The first few days we went 1/1 or 1/2 on t3s and t4s. Now every time we kill a t2 we need to do 4+ and we have yet to get another t4 dragon. Did I miss something?
