Can anyone give me rough HP counts on all the T3s and Yilbegan?
I dont think we have seen meteor in any of our 10+ kills >.>

Awesome drops for over an hour, huh?
This one used Meteor once right after 50% and didn't touch it again. It was definitely tamer than the first but we also had a better strategy.
That being said, compared to other HNM fights, it was hectic and messy as hell. Oh well, first kill, I guess it'll get better.
I fucking hate tanking it though. Too much AoE. Maybe PLD/RDM would work better than /NIN.
It does not have a slow aura, it has a bio aura. What you probably experienced was the fact that when bio aura is up, erase will never hit the slow. It will always hit bio first, which will then be instantly reapplied by the bio aura. Need to esuna at that point.
To Therin,
I love PLD/RDM but honestly think useing /war on this is better, defender helps alot with Dancing Tail, We were useing pld/nin and haveing trouble aswell.
PLD/BLU if you want defense, srsly.
so did you get a title?
We didn't get the title. Just the dark crystals, gold ore, and a whole lot of heartbreak. :<
We had a similar experience with our Yilbegan, though we managed to win. We got it down to ~45% before it started to spam meteor every 45 seconds or so and didn't stop until it had regened to about 70%. I had asked about the possibility of a hard mode because I specifically remember Failure saying that he thought Yilbegan could be 6-manned and there is no way that the one we fought could have been 6-manned. We fought ours in present Xarcabard.
I still think 9 can do it, I think people have done it with 12ish already? But I'm confused. All you need to kill it is a tank "party" capable of holding it, and enough dmg to beat out it's regen and kill it. Spamming meteor doesn't really affect the second part by much. My implication was a standard tank party can survive indefinitely vs it (even with meteor spam...) and ~3 top quality DD should be enough to beat it's regen and kill it. I still say 6 may be do-able, but may be very rough and luck dependent.
So I was told that Yilbegan uses Chaos Blast only if someone has hate in front of it but it didn't seem that way. Hell he just popped it after Meteor then proceeded to continue the Dancing Tail spam.
On our first try we saw no Sinister/Dexter wings so no one had hate from the sides ever and Dark Star was always preceded with the smoky Bio aura for us at least.
Gonna ask: How are people dealing with not getting this damn thing to depop? The knockback on Chaos Blast is pretty much the dealkiller if he throws you out of the arena which is what happened to us @19%. Fought it at Gustaberg which had walls but im not sure if all the zones where he roams have that trick.
I wouldn't call him a cakewalk though his -ga spells were weak but Meteor and Chaos Blast make things fun to say the least. 3 more black abyssites to use anyway.
The dragon will spam Meteor and Petri if you do frontal tank.
Killed 2 Dragons before work. Each a 15-20 min fight. First dropped a coral fragment. Second dropped both rings and feet.
