@Eanae: I've heard DEX + INT both come from T4, so I imagine he meant those two~

weird that there seem to be 2 different monsters we are talking about.

And get used to seeing nothing but gold ore or something drop, because thats a solid half our kills.

What zone did the dragon drop both? and was it a giant dick bag dragon or a tame one?

I question marked it because we've seen 0 official confirmation of the drop. Seems odd it took till now for one to drop and its a double drop at that.

Not really, that just means it's a low drop rate.

It's not like this thing is dying 20 times per server per day. Probably once per day or less.

And considering how small the percentage of those who kill it post here, it's not hard at all to believe that some have dropped before and no one has said anything other than "my JP friend said he got one" or something of that nature.

Fights were easy with 0 issues. 20
min tops a fight.

Woulda posted before work but was passing out mid fight and needed a 2hour nap.

I'll prob leave work within the hour.

Did they ever figure out what makes it depop out of the blue? Or did I miss it? LS got it down to 73% before it depopped on us. Grats on your dropz~

So does that means you can't pull Yilbegan to a "safe spot/camp" after popping it? Also, for the linkshells that were very sucessful against Yilbegan, did you guys use PLD/NINs or /RDMs?

pld/nin sucks pretty much. Use pld/rdm or pld/blu (some pld like /war but bleh) and solo tank it like a champ. Damage resistance is too weird for others to take hate more than once, if at all.

They use PLD/NIN and tank at the pop spot. They just have PLDS shadow whoever is popping and claim it right away and get behind it. The leader says PLD/WAR is fine as well but I doubt it matters much if you've got good enough players. Bad things can happen no matter your sub I'm sure.

They use RNG, BLU/THF and a SMN for DD on the thing and make sure the DDs have a BRD.

Did three Yilbegans today, first and last fight were pretty "straightforward/easy", I let one of my members tanked the second, but got a bit hectic so things got a little messy on second try.

Just something I want to say, some of the information I received from Yilbegan was taken from wiki but the Darkstar information seemed either off or I was incredibly lucky.

Darkstar on Wiki says it adds def down and magic def down, but in all 3 fights every Dark Star I got hit by did no such thing, never had any status effects.

I don't know if I am the only that experienced that. It did Dark star for a total number of 6 times, and neither of those times was I ever inflicted with any status effect.

Outside the -ga status inflicting spells, the only time I ever had a status on me was poison from Dancing Tail.

His -ga 3 nukes were ridiculously weaker than I anticipated, took only 100-300dmg in my normal PLD/RDM type build without any barspell.
