Mega Scissors seems to be coneal. Venom shower is poison and virus. 1K Thunder IV. I suggest blm for this fight. Our crystal holder lost there crystal after NM popped.

Was pictures earlier showing it as untargetable. If there's a special way to aggro it, seems to be another annoying HNM you need to find that wont appear on widescan that pops across 11(?) zones.

Its AoE Mute that can't be silena'd.

How'd it become target-able? Or not saying?

It's like the other NMs, you have to heal to pop it. After we killed Verth-whatever one of our members' crystal thingies got upgraded to a black one, at which point he was able to pop it. Sounds like the other guys got it glitched.

Edit: Currently at 43%. It has a Scorching Lash-type move called Dancing Tail that's 3-hits so tanks are tanking it from behind.

Tiered pop system:

Get Crystal, go kill tier1 (Trash mobs) until it changes color.
Go find tier2 (pretty easy NMs), hope? it changes color. Doesn't seem to always.
Go find tier3 (Listed non-dragon "HNMs" - crab, pixie, etc). Kill it. 1/1 changed color.
Go find tier4 (Dragon). Fight???

Only 1 person needs it.

The items these HNMs drop are used for Magian weapons. They're required to get the best rewards.
For example, Trial 77 leads to trial 78 or 79.

78 requires 10 Baby Blobdingnags and gives a pair of Katars with 17 Damage, 140 Delay, Occ.Atk.Twice.

79 leads to 81, requires killing 500 vermin, 600 birds, and 400 gnoles, and gives a pair of Katars with 0 Damage, 140 Delay, Occ.Atk.Twice.
