I think I've found a spot that could work for this. Just tested it out on Yacumama, which was really, really easy. It basically glitches and runs around in a huge circle rather than cutting corners. Was plenty to get nukes off on Yacu, should be ok for Krab too, hopefully.

Took a pic of it afterwards, demonstrating it with a normal mob. NMs will take the same path though.

You can also go closer to the middle part of the fence and have it melee you from the other side (although it will look like it's on your side, it's not), where you can get a nuke off, then take a few steps back to make it loop around again.

I'd imagine this would be the most favorable spot for Krab, as it definitely made Yacumama a joke.

Edit: Also, I didn't see this mentioned in the thread, but I soloed Skuld earlier. Pulled it to the lake in Rolanberry and kited it around as RDM/NIN. Took 60 minutes with Bio II/Poison being on most of the time.

You have to be careful though, because its Bind/Gravity can fuck you up. Need to time when you stop to cast on it, as it can be quite deadly past 25%. Had to tank it a few times, where MDT/PDT sets pretty much made the difference.

Not a terribly hard solo though. It was a joke pretty much until 25%, where it starts to near-instant cast.

Any idea on the position of your fence for Yac? The spot I used to solo works but you can't get those nukes off which really sucks.

    Also GJ on Skuld :D

Oh sorry, thought it was pretty obvious from the pic. It's right where the C.A. stands when you don't have Ronfaure control. H-9

Been working on some solos lately.

Thanks for strats on Xarc nms --
The Feurenke/Erebus solo's have become a complete joke with those trees in Xarc. Easiest of the t2s imo. I've found that 2 powder boots works well for Feur, since he can have some hella far spawns. Erebus can be kited /nin easily as long as put on fire.

As for LL-- The north and south rocks work really well, but I've been testing with some spots in the middle of the zone, since powder booting like x3 times to get it to a rock causes the occasional annoying despawn. There is one big rock, a bit to the NW of the Ballista NPCs, that works as long as you are completely on top of your game and don't attempt to do anything but the occasional shadows and bio/poison. It doesn't displace it as well as the other two, but as long as you are paying attention it works well enough.

I've done 2 shoggoth solos now - first I used poison pots for and then 2nd one I didn't use them and it still worked. I just kite it in a huge circle around the zone with dots. I used chainspell for assistance when under 10-15% both times. Since random chainspell is rough. RDM/nin eats almost all of the IV nukes, sleep will get off, but i get shadows back up and cure IV through. My MDT set isn't anything amazing - just a dalmy and few other pieces. I duo'd once with a ranger which made it really easy - shadowbind for every chainspell till under 20%.

Sitting on Orange/Purple now so time to start using some of the posted skuld/yac/scorp things. See if I can contribute anything new and useful lol.

Took me 42 kills to get mine.... was retarded.

    Just a note on Jyeshtha:
    We trio'd him with nin/drk x2 and rdm/drk.
One ninja had medium evasion set on the other was in merit gear.
We just took turns stunning it, was as simple as that. Only got hit
with shadows down once. We could not land para on it either.

    Sooo yeah I was sick of killing Globsters and Ground Guzzlers until I finally got a colorful abyssite. I know you all are sick of seeing a monster defeated and the color never change. ;;

The 300 exp per kill of approximately a Tough was what made it not horrible. Even got some EXP Chain 2s. :3

You need to scroll to see this one.

Seriously WTF. 4 Yilbegans for our LS: 1 Kadife, 1 Agrona's, 1 depop.

In fact, we've done about 15-20 T3 VNMs now and no rings or titles. This is fuckin lame.

just did SKULD solo on dnc but had to stop after 50 mins . i wasnt able to do enough dmg to counter its regen effect . I got it down to 87% once but after that it was usually @ 96-99% . just noticed when it doesnt have debuffs (steps etc) on . healing breeze gives it a "regain" status effect .

I don't believe Krabkatoa is soloable. I've duo'd it twice with RDM/NIN x2, and the second time we figured it'd be a good idea to have my friend warp and change to THF at 2% since I assumed I'd be able to handle the last 2% solo with no problem. It took me an extra 10-15 minutes, and it was not easy. Between Stoneskin spam, keeping Bio II/buffs up and a couple of Venom Showers I was really hard-pressed to chip away at its HP. If there was no time limit I expect it'd be doable theoretically, but as things stand now I wouldn't even bother wasting a pop item.

I use those fences for kiting NMs during campaign. Bagodek is scary.

Sorry for being late, but bad mods are bad.

2 days ago fought shoggoth, duo pld + rdm.

We've done it successfully maybe 30+ times now?

Anyway pop it, depop by accident after 4 minutes of fighting.

Repop it: The entire fight every nuke (Blizzard 3 thunder 3) does <75 damage and poison 2 lands once.

Sub 20% was hell but we downed it.

Edit: Going to sleep, will thread more in morning.

    Thoughts?

LS mate yesterday popped scorp in saruta after maint and the pinning technique was not working according to him. Mob walked right through the rock.
Maybe he wasn't doing it just right or SE ninja patch?
