Thanks Cairthenn. I rarely take SS' so I couldn't back up my own post XD

I only noticed this three days ago and I've only done six T3s since then but the mob's HP and shadow/non-shadow/pop with mist was correlated.

Please let me know if anyone else can confirm this too. It can lead to a few theories.

Speaking of stupidity, does anyone have a screenshot specifically debunking my mystical theory that if one solo's a campaign boss completely solo without a tag they will get one AV item of choice each successful kill?

Youre an idiot, its a specific example. Ring + Black. Whats so hard to grasp, I don't care that you say its happened. I'm stating something might be possible, youre speaking in absolutes and saying it isnt. The burden of proof lies with you, not me. Post the screenshot or shut the fuck up.

Seems we may be onto something. However, ours with shadow change at some point before or at(?) pop and we got nothing.

Well now the .dats make sense at least. Can they pop without shadow and gain shadow mid fight then? Seems odd.

Just killed a Stolen krab so i cant confirm black upgrade.

No shadow 2 shells no title

Fun fact i have had helm drops without title or black flag, but every ring drop gave a black flag.

Thanks for the reports guys. I have a little bit more confidence in my guess now so here's a bit more food for thought:

EDIT : (1) is wrong, mis-read my notes.

1) One test I conducted:
Hypothesis: Only one True can pop at same time.
Test: Kill blobs in multiple zones one after another.
Conclusion: False hypothesis, got two Trues back to back.

2) There are no multiple PHs for T3 mobs on radar programs.
Leads me to think True/Shadow is 100% random @ pop.

3) Test method that I will never try:
Pop T3 and check shadow. Wipe. Pop T3 immediately after and check shadow.
If first and second pop has different status, high chance of supporting 100% random.
