    It's locked up/rebooted with one RAM chip, one hard drive, and one CD drive attached.

    Tried all four chips, in all four slots, individually. It still happens. Tried OS installs on two different SATA drives. It still happens.

    I don't have a spare power supply right now. Trying to get my hands on one.

    Well, I got a new motherboard and it is working, just had to settle with a microATX board with fewer plugins. I'm now down one case fan because of lack of power plugs for it. The old motherboard has some ruptured capacitors near the CPU socket, which seems to be the cause of the reboots.

    Yup, those caps are usually the first to go to if they are bad.

    I usually check monthly, as I've lost 2 motherboards in the past. (Years ago, Abit-era.)
