Saw this in another thread.
That's in regards to Yilbegan. Sounds buggy to me. SE has apparently adjusted the depop conditions for fomors and Ebur NM's. So there's a chance they might care about this too.

Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about the changed depop conditions for the Fomor?

I believe they act like normal NMs now where they will just go idle after beating someone. The same draw-in mechanics exist to prevent kite solos.

i did not, nor did anyone else i know of who experienced a server transfer. it's my expectation that SE mailed them prior to the server transfer/deletion rendering the items created and destroyed within the maintenance period. if it doesn't show up in my box by the end of the day, i'm going to try asking a GM. not that i expect it to do much good...

I'll freely admit that SE has made some monumentally stupid decisions in the past, but I find it difficult to believe that they would do something this idiotic. Especially given that they appeared to intentionally be waiting until after the server merge to send out the items, for presumably this exact reason.

And even on the off chance that they did actually screw this up, I'd expect that they would correct the mistake and resend the items soon.

Crud I knew something was wrong. I installed some UI mods and noticed the game wouldn't load then try to revert everything back to normal but kept failing to connect. Oh well I'll just run a file check. Thanks.

I did the same thing. UI Mod Installer wouldn't connect, so I manually found and moved the FFXIStyle (widescreen) dats into the corresponding ROM folders. Now when I log on (after you push "Play") I get a "configuring Final Fantasy XI" window with a status bar. I'm able to log on fine if I hit cancel a few times though. I did do a file check, and while it recognized 5 files that needed to be repaired, it didn't repair them -,-

So I hope Aikar updates the UI Mod Installer soon

um that isn't update, last date was Nov 11. That is why I asked if you could still use that one and so far two people have said it fucked their shit up, so I don't think I wanna try it.

People are getting errors using the UIModInstaller created by Aikar. The original DATs (listed 2 posts up) from Emiko are just manual swaps. Those wont mess anything up, especially since they come with originals.

Well I dunno if it's broken or not, but i have never seen Sandworm skip a day right after maintenance. Anyone had the the same problem today ?

Not sure if its just my server or me (although a friend said he had some problem) but the blue thing on the runic portal is gone. When you run up steps to choose a Staging point the blue thing on the floor missing.
