New Observations Strongly Suggest Unknown "Structures" Tug at Our Universe

You and I both man QQ I sometimes hear the siren song of particle physics and wonder if I should have gone that route, you remember that loooong discussion don't you? lol. It's hard to choose when you genuinely love multiple facets of a particular subject and are forced to choose.

But oh well, it doesn't mean we cant love it all and keep learning. :D

And here's another reason the quantum physicists of the last century had it so well. They didn't have to specialize so much. It was either QM or GR. They had two things to choose between, and then they could proceed to study everything about that subject. Now you don't focus on either. You focus on a very small portion of one of these. For example, if I study condensed matter, I wont learn anything about particles. And even then I'll only be studying a small part of condensed matter physics.

You two should just become an engineer and get it over with.

You realize when I take over the world that engineers are going to be the first to go, right? I would just go after them now, but I need engineers to build my doomsday device (which I'll immediately use on the engineers).

You're probably right. Like I said earlier, so many things are suggesting to us that there's something much larger than what we're accounting for in our theories. And if you think our current universe is mind breaking, just think about how much our idea of the universe keeps growing.

Remember the good ol' days when the entire universe was just a bunch of concentric spheres with the Earth in the center and everything else revolving around us? Now our idea of the universe is unfathomably large, and your article suggests that we may have to expand it MUCH more D:

I know what you mean, waiting is always the worst part. If Ronald Mallot gets his stuff together we could all just go to and fro the future and past as we see fit and have the answers and bring them back to our past selves.

I'd do a complimentary pick up of Carl Sagan, Einstein, Newton, Galileo and show them everything we know today. Paradox count = Off the charts.

What's funny is that this actually happens. Most people with physics PhDs don't consider themselves "physicists" based on what they actually do at their job. Statistically, a person who intends to become a physicists and gets their degree in it will end up being something between engineer and physicist.

Mizango wont have that option since he's going into a field where no one will hire him outside a university. If I go into solid state physics, then chances are I wont actually be a physicist. But in this case I'll be making a lot more than Miz until they name 74% of the universe after him. Unless he gets a book or TV deal like some other prominent scientists. In that case, I wont make more than him until I take over Africa and use their diamond supply to fund my doomsday device.
