I wonder if we can use this to finally test whether the Universe is Godelian or not, assuming it is and we can readily construct closed timelike curves, I'd have to go say whassup to Feynman, Godel, and Einstein.
Then go way back and smoke a joint with Jesus.
I think more misteries to investigate is exciting. Just consider that we don't even know how our own brains function exactly (in terms of producing what we call experience in its coherent entirety).
Need to fix the aging thing first. Being pressured for time will not advance us any further. I personally hate the feeling of being rushed. A lot of great discoveries come from the bored scientists lazily pulling at strings in the fabric and seeing how little they know about the tapestry surrounding them.
You're thinking about this the wrong way. If you had a time machine, you should use it for something more personally advantageous and appealing. Like figuring out whether or not if Jehanne was a hot teenager in armor. Or if having "the face that launched a thousand ships" meant that Helen could receive good reviews in FoD. After you finish exploiting exploring historic maidens under the night sky, pull out your video camera and telescope and capture some footage of the supernovae that supposedly lit it up with 1/4 the luminosity of the moon. While you're at it, how about going waaaay back: try and get some footage of the moon being created. I'm sure that'd be worth watching in slomo.
I have a home you dumb assholes.
lol
Fucking Ryko.
I didn't say I'd ONLY go see those guys/burn one with Jesus, those are just the first things that pop up, I'd also like to investigate the cause of the little ice age, the end of the last ice age, determine whether or not neandertals used a spoken language, and yes, watching the big whack form the moon/recording it in 4 bajillion x 3 bajillion pixel quality 3D video from multiple angles would definitely be on the list of things to do.
