I saw that on digg as well. I was very aroused after watching it.
If that's real thats freaking ridiculous... I can't even imagine how you do that panorama...
what the fuck...
In all honesty tho, I don't think Adobe has a sense of humor.
Cant wait.
The reason why I'm sketchy on this possibly not being fake. Is due to them almost a year ago talking about such technology. (Actually goes back to 2006 around CS where this whole idea was speculated.)
If its real, holy shit CS5 will cost 3284901809150980591 dollars and every business will buy it. If not, lawl & embarrassment.

They're probably tired of anyone calling out on bad shoops.
That is impressive if true.
There are tools online that already do this (not to such perfection however).
One being LiquidResize which you can find free online. It can handle basic stuff, and is stand alone, or works with GIMP and Photoshop.
True, Seph, but this from the pictures looks nearly flawless. It pretty much produced at least HALF of that cloud photo. That's amazing. I wonder what that algorithm looks like...
if(User.clicks){
God();
}
I would really love to read an in depth description as to how that algorithm works. The amount of man hours it must have taken to figure out how exactly to write and (hopefully) perfect that kind of algorithm.............
Well, they had two universities involved on helping out with it alongside Adobe's own research team, so if anything, a shitload of people would be getting a raise out of this.
At any rate, it'd give me an excuse to actually upgrade from my ancient copy of Photoshop 7, even though I'd have to pay fullprice for it.
(Adobe decided to invalidate all pre-CS copies of Photoshop for upgrade price once CS3 came out. There was nothing in all three of them that interested me, although CS4 has some nifty features with the built-in 3d support)
That's actually pretty incredible.
Watching those videos has made me question every photograph I've ever seen in my life up until this point.
Can we fix it men?

That would be incredibly sweet. Removing shit around is waaaay too time consuming.
Need to stop opening this thread. I am starting to chafe.
omg... buckets.

Bring it on Adobe.
Holy fuck. O.O
