The linkshell itself; it has a few nice people in there (Yubi <3), overall skill is not as high as they try to advertise (wiping to cerberus/khimaira/tiamat with full alliance is a fair example). However, the person who really makes this shell look like an overrun turd is Gorgan.

He will go out of his way to harass people in tells and in say, gloating over their few claim victory and he thinks he's hot shit.

To the people from SO/LB, get rid of your trash, it will really be for the better of your shell. To the other people reading this thread, don't waste your time with that ls until they got rid of their resident moron.

This is the biggest joke ls to ever be on Kujata.

Facts:

They wiped to khim more than they actually killed it (sometimes even with 18+)

My personal favorite was the time they accidentally CFH'd Khim.

Everytime they killed Khim, Cerb, DI, or sandworm (lol like twice when they accidentally found it) they left at least 10k exp on the ground.

They lost at least 2 KVs because their kiters didn't have macros for the jobs they were on.

Gorgan is the biggest shit talker ever to play ffxi. I enjoyed the 25+ LOL tells when they actually claimed something (even though we had claimed the last 15 of them).

Ambush could do more with their 8 players than this ls could with 20, and thats not an exaggeration.

Taking 7 whms to anything is overkill, yet their plds still managed to die.

Even when they had wiz's packet(orwuzit) bot, they still claimed daters about 20% of the time.

I can't speak for Voltage, but I was a member of Lovebanana in 2007 and it was a great LS with great members. As with all LS' they have ups and downs and the landscape of the game has changed. I've been in many LS in my time but Lovebanana was by FAR the best one with the best point system. Again this was 2007/08 and leadership has likely changed hands several times, so it really doesn't matter but from my personal experience LB was great. LB definately took my character farther than any other LS did in a relatively short period of time due to their point system which was not completely biased towards players who have been in the LS for 6 years. If the LS is as bad as they say it is, they are doing a disservice to the LB I was a member of, that LS was very good.

This LS (Lovebanana) has been through alot, name changes, leader changes, but one thing stays the same, we continue to play with determination and alot of very experienced players take pride in our ability and experience.
No LS is perfect. This is and endgame LS and we can complete every objective.
Absolute Virtue/Pandemonium Warden are the exeption... For now.

I don't speak for the entire LS.
but negative comments, discussion, fail, and attitude is not our focus.
Just as single members don't define this LS/Group of normal players with dedication.

No disrespect to you personally, but I have to disagree with you here. The way individuals act, while it's their sole responsibility, will always reflect back upon the group they belong to, as long as they enable/reinforce the negative behavior.

This linkshell may have (had) great, glorious times, yet my outside experience with some of the more prominent members in the present day have been nothing but negative. Just look at the posts made by certain individuals of that ls in this thread, don't tell me that they're a nice billboard to have for your linkshell.

Done posting now though, enjoy the bickering, GL with recruitment.

I personally wouldn't recommend this LS, but lets not forget this is my opinion~ Things stated on this thread are entirely true. Now don't get me wrong' I don't want to discourage anyone from applying to this LS, if its your 1st Hnm/endgame shell I say go for it... a beginner shell such as this one is very nice to start of with. You learn to crawl before you walk and this shell still needs to learn how to say "dada"

Many times of me sitting at Cerberus overnight, I wake up to SO fighting it. While I get ready for work, I peak in to see how things are going. Let me tell you, I have witnessed many wipes, HP's only to come back for a second try just to wipe again. I think I finally took screen shots on my other laptop just for a good laugh. Khimaira being the same way.

I think perhaps part of the reason may be them two-boxing. Who knows! But what I do know is the constant laughs on ventrilo from our members saying they are getting lolGorgan tells. SO will go on a drought for a week, claim absolutely NOTHING, finally get a Fafnir and here comes the tell from Gorgan with a "LOL". Serious? Yasha has BLU unlocked, Predetor does not.
Yasha had PLD75, Predetor's is not.
Yasha has DRG37, Predetor does not have it unlocked.
Yasha is rank 10 Sandy, Predetor is rank1 Sandy (Rank10 Bastok)
