Hehe, Idk why but this story rings a bell with me, just not the title. Will go watch it.
it looks fantastic, you should read the graphic novel series if you get a chance
Looks good
Looks awesome indeed. BUT! Qalbert: I thought changing .cbz to .zip was enough to make it, but for some reason WinRAR won't unpack them...At least that always worked for .cbr files for me...just changed them into .rar.
just get a comic reader?
http://comical.sourceforge.net/ for example
Holy shit. I was hating on this movie when it was first announced but it looks really good from the trailer. My only concern is that Cera won't be as energetic as the character is supposed to be.
Video is private? Can't watch it.
edit: Found it on youtube. >.>
this looks amazing.
also edited op to have a working video
don't you dare be a nonshitty mod.
ontopic: despite michael cera as michael cera should be good.
Cera's too type cast for me already. He just comes off too dorky with the wistful forlorn "I wish I had the girl of my dreams" sad puppy look for me to take him seriously in the more weird parts of the story.
I was really not into the idea of Michael Cera in the title role, but then I found out Edgar Wright was directing it and saw some stills. I was intrigued. Now that I've seen the trailer, I'm sold. I'm in. Especially with Mae Whitman playing Roxy Richter. Her?
Edgar Wright was 'nuff said for me
I hate Michael Cera he's more typecast than Vince Vaughn, the graphics look cool but I just can't get over how much I dislike Michael Cera.
Now that I think about it, I'm worried about the pacing of the movie. It's gonna be 6 fights / lead up stories to go through in a reasonable amount of time.
It has a Stephen Chow Kung fu hustle feel to it.
Looks decent.
The trailer made me want to check out the comic. So I did and I have to say I have a hard time imagining Cera as Scott Pilgrim. Pilgrim seems to have this sense of ignorant confidence that is quite distant from Cera's style of awkwardness. Aside from that the comic was great and the movie looks like it could at least be somewhat entertaining. I'm curious how they plan to cram all of the comics into one movie though.
Looks awesome. Will go see.
